Eurydice Games was founded in 2017 by Jackson Pope for the purpose of self-publishing hand-crafted, limited edition runs of his game designs. Jack previously ran Reiver Games where he started out hand-crafting games (and was very successful at it in the days before Kickstarter). With Reiver Games, Jack made the jump to professional publisher, selling his games to shops and distributors around the world, but sadly his lack of marketing skills, misjudging of the games' popularity and loan repayments meant that he ran out of cash after a couple of years and shut it down.
Eurydice is a return to the hand-crafted games that he started out at and was successful at. Each game is professionally printed and laminated, but the boxes are hand cut and assembled and the cards are cut out by hand too. The first game under the Eurydice brand was a 30 copy limited edition of Zombology released for NaGaDeMon 2015. The first real Eurydice game will be a larger print run of Zombology 2nd Edition featuring upgraded art and components and streamlined rules.
