This company published a series of three rebus-puzzle games in 1899. Each was titled Hidden Book Titles, and came in Series A (30 cards), Series B (15) and Series C (15).
The Series A cards are dated October 1899, and according to a listing on the American Antiquarian Bookseller's Association site, the Series C cards were dated the same year.
An advertisement in the Series A box also names a Series D, but this is also titled Literati, and described as a variant of Authors. It had a deck of 55 cards divided into 11 sets, each with an author and two illustrated cards from each of two books.
The backs of the Series A cards say the company was based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but two accompanying advertising flyers say it was based in Philadelphia.
