From the Publisher's website:
Back in 2000, when 01 Games was born, there were not many pdf D20 companies around here. In fact, 01 Games was the first one, followed readily by Malhavoc Press and few others. So “0one” could mean: “the first one” but actually this is not the truth.
When I decided to found Øone Games, I thought that would have been a good idea to sell adventures and modules through the Internet. It seemed a really cool idea to me. I already worked in the industry at that time, writing articles and adventures for many game magazines. So after I decided to start my own company I was in dire need of a good name. I wanted a name that could reflect both the electronic nature of the products and my first game company. The result was “01”, the base element of the computers’ binary code.
Much time has passed from these days, the release of the OGL and SRD by Wizards of the Coast made many dreams of many RPG fans come true. However we, at 01 Games held firmly our feet on the ground and worked hard to bring always quality products on the market. The Legend of the Steel General was a good start but we are proud to have maintained a good quality of product since Øone was born. We are also proud to have published truly innovative product such as Customizable Battlemaps dungeon rooms vol.I , Skirmish tiles, Castle System The Blueprints and The Dungeon Under the Mountain.
Customizable Battlemaps combine the standard versatility of PDF products with the innovative technology of programming on PDFs.
These products witness we are a PDF company with kicking ideas.
Thus, let me introduce you our product lines.
Master Accessories: this is our best selling line of products. The Master Accessories line features mainly battlemaps, wonderful maps to use with roleplaying games or miniature games. Our cartography is largely appreciated. The best selling Master Accessories products are our battlemaps. They are basically single rooms shown in a top down perspective, featuring stunning detail and lighting effects you can print on a single sheet of paper, put on the game table, throw on some miniatures and play. The battlemaps are so detailed you can even build an adventure drawing inspiration from what you see on the map. Our battlemaps are top-notch.
The SKIRMISH TILES are also a good product, the gamers use them for miniature games since we give a plan view of the room there, plus they are tileable.
Øone's Blueprints: The gamers love these maps; each product focuses on a generic fantasy location, just like the old blue and white maps you found on the old modules you loved. These products are inexpensive and feature old-style maps enhanced with new technology. The bluerints offer a degree of customization; with a simple mouse click you can remove doors, add gridlines an remove the black ink within the walls.
The Dungeon Under the Mountain: I don't know you but I ever loved the Ruins of Undermountain boxed set! I spent hours of (and still do) memorable playing within the halls of this mammoth dungeon. So here is this set of king-sized maps for your endlesss dungeon crawls. The maps are customizable with a single big button that allow you to obtain the appearance you desire.
Master Adventures: The Master Adventures series is a line of generic adventures easy to plug in any ongoing campaign. All of these adventures try to follow our main guideline: a well balanced mix of combat and roleplaying, detailed NPCs and dangerous foes. These are classic adventures which do not want to be always innovative, but, I think, very funny and playable. All the adventures are supported by our gorgeous cartography and some of them have gained a battlemaps product to support them: that is, you get an adventure and a set of map to play with.
Seven Avengers, the world of Arthad: this is our campaign setting, which is not actually a campaign setting but a chain of adventures that give a glimpse of a world you can expand and customize. Of course, some sourcebooks do exist, (upon request of the players) but our focus are the adventures which started with the first PDF D20 ever sold: The Legend Of The Steel General. All of these are solid and big adventures set in a low-magic world, Arthad, where you can count the wizards on your fingertips and where the magic items are few and legendary. It is a epic world where a war between the gods, before the world was born, left an heritage of death and destruction for the humankind.
Other Products: This is our catch-em-all line, it features mainly sourcebooks. Dark Ladies, Villainesses in RPGs, was written by Andrew Hind, a renowned freelance writer, and features 17 detailed villainesses to plug in your games. While, from the same author and with gorgeous illustrations and maps you will find Dark Masters, detailing devils as deities.
That’s all, I hope you will enjoy our products as I do, on my game table.
