From the back of the box:
Using cards with a variety of images ranging from the charming to the ordinary, encompassing a range of situations, players improvise stories.
Whether engaged in a friendly contest or creating a story together, you will love the way Tell Tale gives your imagination a chance to shine.
Object of the game:
Using the image cards as prompts, tell the best story individually or as a team.
Four games to play with Tell Tale:
• Round 'N Round: Everyone takes 4 cards and takes turns flipping 1 card and adding to a collective story. The story ends when the last card is used.
• Showtime: Everyone takes 6 cards and takes turns telling their own individual stories from their own cards. The game ends when all players have told their stories.
• Storyboard: Everyone takes 6 cards and places them in the order they want to tell their story. Each player then takes turns telling their own individual stories from their own cards in the order they laid out. The game ends when all players have told their stories.
• The Stack: Shuffle the cards, place them in a pile at the center of the table, and each player takes turns flipping a card and adding to a collective story. The story ends when the cards run out.
While Tell Tale is meant to be played non-competitively, you may vote as a group to decide who gets points for the best story or contribution to a story.
