Description Edit | History

Essentially, the fourth (and final) home edition of THE JOKER'S WILD made by MB. It was based on the short-lived Saturday Morning version of the show which ran in syndication from 1979-1981, right alongside (and usually, on the same stations as) the five-a-day-syndicated standard show. Two kids (usually pre-teens) played the game with much simpler questions than the standard version. It was also played for points instead of cash in the front game, with the winner earning a $500 Savings Bond and the runner-up a $100 Savings Bond. The winner and his parents then joined them onstage for the "Beat the Devil" Bonus, which played just like on the regular show and (usually) for equivalently-valued but more family-themed prize packages. Like the adult version, the show featured returning champions and games that straddled episodes.
