Description Edit | History

Leopards and cattle - together we are strong.
(complete name: Diviyan Leoparden und Keliya Rinder)

is a two player game against 2 Leopards and 24 cows.
One player beginns with the leopards, the other one takes the cattle. The cattle win if they can surround the leopards, so they can't make a move. The leopard player tries to jump over the cattle (more than one in a row is allowed), those cows are removed from the gameboard. The leopard player wins when the cattle player has no cows on the board left (or isn't able to surround the leopards)

---

The game is quite similar to "Demala diviyan keliya", a two-player tradional board game from Sri Lanka. The game is also known as the Tamil leopards game. In India, it is called Rafaya. The game is a hunt between 15 leopards and 3 tigers.
