This edition has very few written markings besides the cover and the small instruction booklet. The cover says: "Senet the ancient Egyptian game discovered in King Tut's tomb / A game of chance and strategy played over 4500 years ago - King Tut's favorite Pastime."

The instructions are simple - a tri-fold booklet on cardstock (6 panels) On the bottom of the title panel is the following text: "(c0 1977 Conceptual Games - All rights reserved / Published by Recycled Paper Products, Inc, Chicago, ILL. TM A trademark of Conceptual Games"
The board is one piece, and not folded, measuring the same size (essentially) as the box; 22x8x2. The components are made of wood, and are fairly chunky.
