Description Edit | History

Mow Mow Hare is a version of Crazy Eights with a theme of hares trying to get to the Hare King's birthday party, while avoiding the farmer and foxes.

The deck has 48 cards, and special cards include take one and take two card foxes, wild cards (match any card), the gardener is looking (lose a turn, and player must be silent until his next turn or draw a card) and the gardener has discovered the hare (reverse direction of play).

Also included are three carrots and a Hare King. A player takes a carrot when he or she is down to the last card and says "Mow." When the last card is played, the player must say "Mow Mow" and may take the Hare King, ending the game.

The game also includes a treasure hunt type game, which involves searching a room or yard for cards, so falls outside the scope of Boardgame Geek.
