Description Edit | History

Scenarium is a party game for 4-20 people where players tell stories, draw pictures, and act out scenes based on creative commons photos and some very unusual prompts.

The game mechanic is similar to Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity in that The Director chooses a card and a prompt and all the other players/teams of two have a few seconds to tell, draw, or act out their response. The best performance, in the eyes of The Director wins the card, and then the player or team to the Director's left becomes the next Director. The first player or team to five cards wins.

It's an easy game to learn - the directions fit on one side of a playing card, and each game only takes about 30 minutes to play, but you'll never play the same game twice. There are 249 game cards in the limited edition version of Scenarium, and each card has three prompts. The average game only takes 12-18 rounds so you can play for months without seeing the same prompt and every player will have a different, often incredible, response.

For the physical game, we're working with Cartamundi, one of the world's premiere game printing companies - they print Magic the Gathering, as well as the licensed cards and games for Harry Potter, Pixar, Disney, and Hasbro. It's a great-looking game.
