Description Edit | History

The 1713 in the edition name is not the date of the print, but rather its catalogue number within the Pellerin system. There are versions of 1713 available in other languages. The date of this print is uncertain, but a British dealer selling a French version as of June 2016 cited it as 1870 or earlier.

The two game players in the lower left corner, holding dice cups and possibly playing Game of Goose, were featured in the same location within a special composite print issued for the bicentenary in 1996 of publisher Pellerin & Cie (also known as Imagerie d'Epinal).
