Description Edit | History

McLoughlin Brothers appears to have licensed the game from Cincinnati Game Co./Fireside, because the box of this 1902 edition has the subtitle "Fireside Series".

While the mechanics of the game did not change, McLoughlin completely reworked the game's look, putting its own vivid art on the cards, changing some of the flags, and printing a fancy gold-leaf pattern on the card backs. Oddly, the 12 four-card groups are labelled A through O, with no groups labelled G, H or I.

The McLoughlin game also includes rules for a second game using the cards, essentially a flag-recognition quiz game.
