Description Edit | History

The Danish version is known by the name "Tips", which is derived from "at tippe" meaning "to bet" or "to guess". The version is played using a standard deck of cards and a big box of safety matches. The game is played with simultaneous bidding (using matches hidden in the hand revealed at a count of three). Also, in the Danish version spades are always trumps.
