User Summary:

This second edition shows several subtle differences to the 2010 first one:

Fantasy Flight Games printrun code on the back of the box says 1364MAY12.

The recommended age is now given as "14+" on the back of the box and as "ab 14 Jahren" (ages 14 and up) on the long sides of the box.

On each Space Marine card below each Marine's illustration the corresponding combat team icon is now shown, whereas before there was a golden imperial eagle emblem. The cards now look the same in style as those in print-on-demand-expansion "Space Marine Pack 1".

The Space Marine "Lexicanium Calistarius" has been renamed/ newly translated to "Skriptor Calistarius" on his team's "Angriff" (attack) action card and in the title of his Space Marine card. Note however, that in the flavor text on this card he is still called "Lexicanium Calistarius". Furthermore, in contrast to the 2010 first edition, there has been a grammatical error introduced into this flavor text: "Sein Psi-Kraft Energiefeld [...]" instead of correctly "Seine Psi-Kraft Energiefeld [...]".

On the back of the box the postal address of the publisher has changed to "Dr. August-Stumpf-Strasse 7-9, 74731 Walldürn", whereas on the 2010 edition it was "Katzentalerstrasse 1, 74834 Elztal-Dallau".

Lastly, on the front cover there's now a TM-sign attributed to the logo of US publisher FFG, whereas there was none in the first edition. TM-signs for the game title "Todesengel" (Death Angel) where also added to the front cover, to the cover of the manual and to the sides of the box. The back has still no TM-signs for the FFG logo or the game title and the box sides still have no TM-signs for the FFG logo.
