Description Edit | History

type A = with Serata cards and 2 types of animal cards: Tierhändlerkarten and Zookarten

Ravensburger standard money (with head)

variations:
I) production of the board:
The map on the board is assembled in 3 different ways (ImageID back: 3432814)

1) map is not separated which results in a bump on the front and a ditch on the back (ImageID: 3432816)

2) map and back paper is cut in 2 parts, assembled by linen stripe (ImageID: 3432151)

3) map is cut in 2 parts, assembled by linen stripe, back paper uncut, making it impossible to fold the board in 2 ways (ImageID: 3432151).

II) added booklet by WWF
Some (all?) games come with a booklet by WWF explaining the situation of the animals and the work of WWF. There are (at least) 3 different ones in the estimated order of publishing date:

1) Fliegender Turmfalke (ImageID: 3432154)
2) Steinbock im Gran Paradiso (ImageID: 3432157)
3) Natur und Technik (ImageID: 3432156) (included a postal card saying you should use a stamp of 20 Pfennig (giving a hint it was published later than March 1966 and earlier than September 1971 according to the applicable shipping fees)

III) different board design
1) the most often seen shows the denomination of the cards outside the boxes (ImageID: 2678176)
2) a rare one has it inside the boxes, and "WILD LIFE" is written upside down (compared to the former one)(ImageID: 3432815).

IV) rule booklet
1) front without (R) after Ravensburg ImageID: 2678182
2) front with (R) after Ravensburg

V) pawns
1) Plastic pawns with contures (as in the original Carlit edition)
2) ordinary plastic pawns

VI) plastic tray
1) smooth
2) rough, harder (rare)
