This was the original version of the game, developed in Allentown, PA, by Donald Miller, publisher of the local newspaper The Morning Call. It was based on the city's ground-breaking experiment starting in 1947 to use cheap parking to bring car-driving customers to downtown shops. The game became a nation-wide bestseller after local company Traffic Game Inc. sold the rights to Milton Bradley in 1953.
