User summary: The gameboard is a grid of twenty hexes: five columns of four. Each hex contains a letter of the alphabet. Players capture hexes by answering questions whose correct responses begin with the letter of the alphabet of whichever hex is being contestested. The first player of team to complete its individual victory condition, whether connecting a series of hexes from top-to-bottom or side-to-side, is the winner of the round. Winning two rounds wins the game.
The winner of the competition plays the Gold Run, a solitaire race against the clock to capture hexes from side-to-side by answering questions.
