Fun little beer & pretzel style of somewhat quick game with a different theme from the Chez Geek. Still fun though with the theme, like many other games like Munchkin, this version might be better with people who can have an appreciation for the theme & a sense of humor.

If you can find it, definitely recommended over the stock Clue game as it adds a lot more depth to the core game.

The one version of Fluxx I've played that I love. Unlike the other versions, this one adds a few new elements of ungoals (where everyone can lose) & creepers (which have to be played & count against the player). With these elements & the crazy things normal to Fluxx of playing many cards, it is like playing some kind of balancing act where you can avoid the problems falling around you or have all of it fall on your head. If looking at a light party game with a horror theme, it is a good one.

While I prefer using Gloom (standard version) for teaching the game to people, if you love Lovecraft's stories & the Cthulhu mythos, you'd have fun with this once you recognize the theme & characters. I like the design of this Gloom better as it has some good elements of bringing people back & others that make it more fun between the two.

A fun storytelling game as a mix of Edward Gorey & the Addams Family where you tell the story of the family you have as they go through life to their doom. Yes it's a bit dark in theme but rich for an inexpensive game with tons of story.

Quite fun though sadly not a ton of games take advantage of the b-movie setting. A must for horror fans with this quick game between longer games as you all are building your own movie & sending monsters to your opponent so when the credits roll, you have the highest scoring movie.

Fun for Illuminati card game but a bit bogged down in all the cash flying about. Thankfully they fixed it in the Illuminati NWO Collectible card game if I recall.

A great mix of fantasy plus the innovated way of running the guilds over being the low player character doing all the work. Sit back in the guild with a few quality drinks & out manage the other leaders of Waterdeep in this high strategy game.

A bit different from Fantasy Flight but sticking to the Arkham Horror line with this game where one person is running the game like the Call of Cthulhu/Trail of Cthulhu RPG and the rest are there to uncover the mystery of the scenario before they all are injured or insane.

A little more fixed than Arkham Horror/Eldritch Horror as the scenarios in this have limited runs before the players know what to do but the variation happens with the GM being light or heavy with her/his cards of malice as well as the rolls of the dice the players get. A great horror game but give it a try before buying as it might not be the style of other people who like games that are more cooperative for everyone at the table like Arkham Horror/Eldritch Horror.

Great tool for storytelling (either helping write fiction or roleplaying games) & a fun game as well. If you don't like the fantasy setting, it's your game so feel free to take the iconic cards into other settings to tell your own stories. Really easy for people to get into as it's a mix of storytelling & Mad Libs.
