2nd Edition National Production Charts - With Silhouettes
By: happycamper
|
Axis_and_Allies_1942_2nd_Ed_Production_charts v2.pdf (862 KB)
I was unaware that the starting IPC values on the cards were changed in the errata. (I think I was figuring it was just a difference between 1st and 2nd edition...)
In any case, changed files so that UK and Germany have correct starting IPS (31 and 41 respectively...)
(Feel free to give it a like if you find the new cards useful...)

Axis and Allies 1942 2nd Ed Production_charts.pdf (863 KB)
Using Daracles' pdf as a base, I threw together some cards for 2nd edition (switched Tanks & AA gun costs...)
More importantly, I did a cut and paste of the ship silhouettes on each card to help identify the different types of ships for each country (cruisers & destroyers in particular...)

Illustrated Land and Sea Battle Boards
By: jamesgrahamuk
|
Axis & Allies Illustrated Battle Boards.zip (5.10 MB)
Here are some battle boards I made way back in 2014 as a reference for when playing the game with my children. They look nice printed on to glossy card.
Probably not much use to A&A experts but you may want to use them when teaching the game.

Axis and Allies 1942 2e - Tournament Setup Cards (v1)
By: Ghorro
|
Axis and Allies 1942 2e - Tournament Setup Cards (v1).pdf (470 KB)
Setup (front) and unit profiles (back) for each nation for the second edition of Axis & Allies 1942. The setup card is easier to read and use than the one that comes with the game. This file is meant to be printed on 5 double sided sheets, one for each nation. This is based on my previous version also found in the files section under "Axis and Allies 1942 2e - Setup Cards (v1)", with updates for the official Larry Harris Tournament changes found in this post: https://www.harrisgamedesign.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=43&t...

Reference Folding Board + Victory Cities Tracker
By: Alexei Ivanovitch
|
Axis and Allies 1942 2nd HELP BOARD.pdf (979 KB)
I´ve design a reference folding board which also servers as a victory cities tracker.
Features: - Turn sequence; - General combat sequence; - Nations turn order; - Standard Victory indicator/tracker; - Units chart (color/silhouette/name); - Unit status chart; - Victory cities names (in small cards to be stick to the reference board with Velcro).
How to build: 1- Print it in colors (main board + 2x small side boards + cities names) [I suggest printing in A3; the cities (A4) names you will have to see if its ok the size]; 2- Cut pressed cardboard and then fold it in the proper area; 3- Glue the printed pieces to the cardboard; 4- Place velcro on both sides of the victory tracker; 5- Do the same process to the Cities' Names and place the opposite velcro in order to stick on to the reference board.
Reason for this:
From the plays I've made with my friends(which are new to the game) they always struggle to know all of these basic information, and even for myself it works as a nice follow up. Beside this from the games I've played some times you forget how many cities each side controls.
(PDF ready for printing)
Hope you like it and comes to be helpful. Cheers!

1942 2nd Edition IPC Tracker - It's Better Without Money
By: Sureman
|
Axis & Allies 1942 2nd Edition IPC Tracker TEMPLATE.xlsx (29 KB)
Here's an excel file that you can use to organize the game efficiently. The first page shows the territories and income. When a territory changes control, just move the income to the country that gained control.
At the beginning of the turn, use the third sheet to figure out the production. Add that IPC amount on the second sheet under Production. At the end of the turn, add income under Income and everything tabulates automatically. Use it for a game and you'll see how much easier it is to play this way.
The only thing it doesn't do is figure out the adjustment needed when a capital is lost. You need to do that manually. Hey, maybe somebody could write a script for that and re-post it.
Note: The first sheet is based on a similar tracker somebody else posted to BGG previously. ENJOY! Sureman

R&D rules, R&D board, researcher tokens, and flight counters
By: Mr_Tricorder
|
R&D_rules_board_tokens.pdf (904 KB)
This file contains 3 things:
optional rules for Research & Development taken directly from Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition rulebook. I did not include the errata, so you may want to download the Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition errata separately.
a board for tracking which breakthroughs the different powers have developed. The breakthroughs are represented by icons created by axisandallies.org user siredblood. Players should place control markers on grey bar next to the breakthrough icon to show they have developed that technology.
a counter sheet for cutting out researcher tokens needed for this particular version of R&D rules and flight counters to track the distance that air units have flown during the combat movement phase. Flight counters with a gear icon beneath the fighter or bomber silhouette indicates that unit can only travel that distance after developing the Long-Range Aircraft breakthrough.

Simultaneous Axis & Allies Rules ver010316.pdf (759 KB)
Beta ver. 01.03.16 These rules allow all countries to complete their turns simultaneously, reducing downtime and speeding up 4 and 5 player games. In our play testing, these rules have sped up the game by about 20-25%. There is no more sitting around waiting for other players and game play has evolved to become more dynamic and realistic.
Try them out. You won't go back.

Set up cards A and A 1942 2nd edition
By: zombiewarrior07

Axis and allies 1942 set up.doc (96 KB)
For those gamers (such as myself) with ageing eyes, I created these set up cards, as I found the font size on those that came with the game way too small. Best to print these on both sides of an A4 page, and then laminate. Please feedback any errors / suggestions. Thanks.
Now, where did I put my glasses?
