Yesterday (2 Sept 05) our first baby was born, she is a perfect little angel. Since then I've been thinking about the birth and how amazing it truly is and how perfect it is. And since I've been thinking about the birth of our new daughter and not able to sleep so I thought I'll try to create my first geeklist.

I am trying to make list of the games which feature birth, procreation of human being as part of theme, mechanism, goal, rule, etc. And so far could come up with few with my limited boardgame knowledge. There are too many games that features death and distruction.. how about birth and creation? Please add your own.

Giving birth is a part of action you can take in this game from the discription I've read. Hope that's right.

Every turn, each player has either a son or a daughter depending on which kinds of action cards they took last turn.

One of the options for turn-action is "Breeding". It's important, since it's almost the only way to get new pieces onto the board. If you let yourself get too few pieces in an ocean, then you can't breed and extinction follows.

Large stacks are male, medium ones are female. Two ajacent male and female stacks can create a child piece, if both are able (that is, have a blue pyramid in the stack) and there's enough small pyramids to create a child stack.
