Highly underrated game. This is one of the few games I have that both gamers and non-gamers enjoy consistently and always beg to replay.

601 is the current rank, and it's surprising to me. While it's probably not in my top ten games, it's always a great addition to a game night. The perfect game to play after a heavy strategy game or to finish off the night.

Oddly enough, everybody prefers Africa over the USA version. I think it's because the USA game has no duplicate countries (states), and that diminishes some of the strategic surprises.

This game is a lot of fun.
Seems to attract a lot of criticism for its thin cards. Personally i feel theyre fine.

When Dragon Dice was first released it was a great gaming idea but the rules sucked! Now Dragon Dice is back on the market, taken care of by SFR Inc., who also reworked the complete rules for better gameplay. Well, some long time players miss a few things which were deleted in the rules during the change, but it was an overall change to the good!! The basic gameplay is similar to CCGs like Magic the Gathering, but played with dice. The big advantage of Dragon Dice is that it's very well balanced. No matter what race you choose to play with, you always have a chance to even win against new released races (which is not the case with e.g. Magic, where new releases often require buying more and more new cards = kind of arms race which finally lead me to quit playing Magic!!!).
I think this game deserves a second look instead of being rated referring to the mistakes made by TSR in the first days!!
This game has improved A LOT (!!!), lots of strategy and tactics is involved and the dice are beautyfully designed. Check it out again, using the new advanced rules which can be found on the SFR homepage http://www.sfr-inc.com/dragon_dice_rules.htm. But prepare to have to invest some time! This game is not learned in a wink of an eye since it is very complex (nothing new to strategy-game-players, I guess)! But once you've digged yourself deeper into the game you will be rewarded by discovering a gripping fantasy dice battle game!
Dice can be found relatively cheap on ebay and further information is available in the Dragon Dice Forum at: http://www.sfr-inc.com/bb/index.php
