Chinatown: 11x (29,7% of 37 games)
San Juan: 11x (29,7% of 37 games)
Chinatown is a hit in our group and San Juan saw a lot of 2-player-games with my girlfriend. But November will be for new Spellenspektakelgames: Tadsch Mahal, TtR:Europe, Caylus, Funkenschlag.

That's weird. This bit used to mention Shire Games, and tell you all how wonderful we are. But it seems to have got deleted. Let's see what happens this time ....

11 x Blokus
9 x Caylus
Blokus was the one I played the most times, but far more gaming hours went into teh 9 games of Caylus!

When ever the wife and I had a little spare time, we'd get in a three game series of 10 Days. We both like the puzzle aspect and can typicaly finish a game in 10-12 turns.
10 Days in Africa: 37 plays 10 Days in the USA: 17 plays
The numbers are individual games.

I have a five-way tie for my most played game in October, because I played five games, once each. I should probably have listed Acquire, as it's the most popular of the ones I played, but I wanted to list one that probably won't be on anyone else's list.

For the record, the five games we played this month were: Acquire, Linkity, Plext, Ooga, and Aargh. Yep, those last 4 were all played on a single day as a test run to see if they were any good. They were all pleasant and certainly short.

I played Crokinole 8 times throughout October. Dang, that game is addicting! It's a lot easier to play more often now that I have my own board. I ordered "Mojimbo" from the Hilinski Brothers two months or so ago.

An ungodly number of times (10?) with my daughter, who turns 3 in January. 1 or 2 plays also involved her frined at a playdate.
Since buying Candyland in Labor Day, it has shot past everything else we own as my #1 played game of the year (and Go Away, Monster may be #2 or 3).
Among grown-ups, For Sale was played 4 times one weekend, with my wife and brother.

San Juan got about 8 plays this month including introductions to my in-laws.
Zombies got 4 plays mainly cos it's my wife's favourite game and I came up with new rules for it.
A game myself and two friends created and made (called Church On The Way) got a couple of plays, but at 8 hours each time, this was probably the longest game-hours of the month.

I've been on this site for 15 years now, and I'm far from sick of games, but I think I prefer a better balance of favorites to new games. I'm also tired of playing 4+ hr multiplayer games, but I'll still happily play really long games 2 player.

October was not a high volume gaming month, but I can't complain too much. We got a lot of work done making firewood, painting the garage, and general preparations for winter. The kids had a great Halloween.
So, with only 3 plays, Roma was my most frequent game played in October. We are really enjoying this one so far. The true test for this game will be to see if there are enough different strategies and tactics to sustain my current level of intrigue. Some folks have balance issues with the Forum, but others argue it isn't a problem. We haven't found a need yet to explore any of the proposed solutions.

This is likely to get a lot of plays in my house in the coming months as well, since the game plays so quickly. This one will be a hit with my family during the holidays and makes such good filler it'll probably hit the table a bunch at my weekly game night.

Strat-o-matic Baseball x4, out of 20 games. I played twice with each of my brothers and split with them both.
As far as time spent playing, that would have to be War of the Ring, with my first 2 plays totaling around 8 hours.
