After re-discovering my old collection of wargames from 20 to 30 years ago, I discovered I was still a 'Boardgamegeek' after all these years. Things seem to have changed, and the wargames do not seem as popular, but I have sensed a comeback in the field. There seem to be few references on BGG to the godfather of wargaming to the mass market over 30 years ago. Jim Dunnigan and SPI made it available to the gaming community to play, and S&T was THE outlet for wargaming. In the mid '70's, when wargames matured, they led the way ( O.K., Avalon Hill was there ) and I still consider them all 'classics'. I decided that I had to generate a list of my subcription years, and others, to see if they are even remembered, let alone desired, by the 'modern' BGG'er. A list now, of my re-discovered boardgames and my thoughts, please feel free to comment or correct my old memories of these games. These are just the SPI era of Strategy & Tactics (with one exception) of games, the rest will have to wait. Hope this first list works out, no idea of how to place the image of the magazine cover, maybe next list? Not stepping on any toes either, I hope.

#45, Operation Olympic. Their first solitaire game attempt, I think. By todays standards, a crude map, but displayed the entire island and gave a good strategic feel. Always wanted an update of this game.
