How's about listing the most extreme length to which you have ever gone in order to either obtain or play a particular game. I'll start off, and before you ask... NO! There's no video. Not even a picture. So there.

First, the backstory. Both our family vehicles are temporarily out of commission. I had ordered an incomplete copy of Panzer Leader for the spare parts and boards, so I'd be able to play the really BIG campaign scenarios. A neighbor called the day our vehicles crapped out to tell me that our rural letter carrier had delivered a package of mine to her house by mistake. I sat for two days, sweating bullets over getting that package. In extremis, I donned my peacoat, navy ballcap, sunglasses, swiss army surplus backpack, jumped astride my daughter's brand new (got it for Christmas) PINK kids ten speed, and peddled my @$$ over to the neighbors' house. I live in rural KY, on a state road in the rolling hills of the Bluegrass. Hills. They roll. Big time. The "neighbor" was about a mile, mile and a half away. I did retrieve my package, put it in the backpack, and pedaled my big booty back to the house. This is a ten speed for a nine year old girl. I'm 6'5", and weigh in at 210 pounds. The bike was small and pink. I'm a big BIG guy. Semis and various and sundry cars and trucks had to pause to give each other room to pass me. That's freakin' dedication, though I'm bound to have my grognard status suspended for such a gender-bending enterprise... personally, I think that my escapade should go down in the grognard annals of X-treme dedication to Avalon Hill's Panzer Leader! Hopefully we'll get our car or truck back today, and this won't become an option when my next game comes in!
