I have ordered plenty of parts from The Game Crafter (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/). I recently ordered the second game (plus 2 expansions) I have ever purchased from them as well, which got me wondering what games other people have gotten from TGC.

Here is my list of games that I have ordered or would like to order from TGC. Please feel free to add your own picks and what you like about them.

My latest purchase from TGC. I have played this game using the Fat Pack from TOG Entertainment, but purchased this and both released expansions from TGC as soon as they were live on the site.

I think Elemental Clash scratches the "Magic itch" without shelling out money for random cards to collect.

I have spoken to the designer, Andreas, on a few occasions and his passion for Elemental Clash is infectious. I look forward to buying the expansions as they are released.

You can see everything from AP Games on the TGC website here: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/designers/andreas-propst

My first game purchase from TGC. I'm a sucker for zombies. The theme is great, the game isn't too complicated to learn and it is pretty fun.

I bought the "Z-Day Edition" (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/za:-z-day-edition), which has every ZA card in it, from all 15 expansions.

Jump Gate looks like a fun space-exploration game. Reading through the rules once was enough to convince me that this one deserves a place on my shelf.

The fact that it won GAMES Magazine's 2011 Traditional Game of the Year award doesn't hurt either.

Just saw this one today when I hit TGC for more indented dice.

Let's see:
8-bit artwork? check
Fantasy setting? check
Every man for himself? check
Kid-friendly? check

I'm sold. This one is probably going to be my next purchase.

Forge has already been picked up by a publisher, and is under development for a 2013 release. In an awesome move, they are making the Beta (prototype) version available via TGC. It just got a couple glowing reviews, and I have to say it looks pretty good (despite not having artwork yet). Sort of deckbuilding with dice, but nothing like Quarriors!.

The designer said he plans to upload a new version to TGC this weekend (Sept 1 2012), so I'll probably order it after that. I'm looking for other stuff to add to my TGC order, but the only thing I have come up with so far is the QQ expansions (pricey, but I do really like QQ as a solo game).

Real-time co-op set on a space ship. The game as a whole is timed, but not individual turns, and it does not require a soundtrack.

Battlespace

This entry is for an old FASA product with the same name, but for awhile there was a TCG game that looked interesting called Battlespace. It looked very much like the sort of game I would have liked to design for myself, but it's not there anymore. Hopefully it will come back or pursue other avenues toward publication.

The premise of this is that you're in a starship, fighting with other starships, and you carefully manage your energy and thrust while fighting - an element I like to see in starship battles. It seemed to have a few customization options and come with a small variety of ships to choose from. I especially liked how kills earned "credits" that can be spent for minor in-game benefits or as part of a larger campaign.

Another game for my wishlist, this game seems to be about a spaceship surviving the rigors of everyday hardship in space. The designer describes as similiar to the computer game, "FTL". That's (almost) enough for me.

Definitely considering this one. Looking for more information.

Players are baristas, gathering money to serve customers. The rules look good, and it claims to work with 2-6 players in 30-60 minutes. Interaction is mostly via trading ingredients and serving other players' customers (but they get some compensation if you do). There are cases where adjacent players' customers interact, and some role cards allow messing a bit with other players.

For $25 (basic edition) or $30 (deluxe), it looks pretty fun.

Roll dice to make combinations that can be placed on the available board tiles. Then deploy your dice (robotic diamond mining stations), which only attack neighboring enemies as they are first placed (falling through the Martian atmosphere). P.S. I may be biased by the fact that I designed this game

This game is fun to play because you never know how things will turn out...

The universe is teetering out of control and the aliens that inhabit it are getting restless. Rumors about total annihilation have spread through every corner of each galaxy. The rumor is that if one particular object can be obtained, then that alien's race and home planet will be saved. Otherwise, their race will be exterminated and their home planet will be destroyed. One alien whispers to another, "What are we looking for?" The other alien snaps back, "The Grail, of course."

Extraterrestrial Grail is a turn-based strategy board game for 2-4 players. Extraterrestrial Grail takes place in outer space in which you are an alien searching for the Grail. Only one player gets the Grail at the beginning of the game, so the other aliens must find out where it is by fighting each other and searching planets for it. The object of the game is to have the Grail card in your hand when the alarm goes off at the end.

Hunger

Hunger is an interesting looking card game on The Game Crafter. It is a post-apocalyptic zombie-world in which players must co-operate to survive. It seems to be very resource based, with food and hunger and the threat of zombies as primary themes.
