I thought I'd get a "jumpstart" on the upcoming holiday and see what games y'all are gonna be playing this Halloween. Add yours to the list.

Unfortunately, this will be slightly too late. But maybe next year then.

Nothing to see here, please move along.

Midnight Party is a game that my five-year-old can play reasonably well, so it will be pulled out.

Games? People still play games??
Specious arguments are not proof of trollish intent.
-
Really, glow in the dark games don't crop up enough any more! This one is still fabulous for making Halloween goofy.

I personally am excited about the next Zombies expansion, which should arrive before Halloween. It will be a cards-only expansion, but the cards are the best part of the game anyways. Other than that, Dracula looks interesting and I'll be playing all of the games on my own horror-themed list:

What better way to spend Halloween than with a bunch of zombies stealing brains?

Actually, maybe passing a brain around with a bunch of zombies is a better way to go.

Or how about making great tasting fast food with a bunch of zombies?

I'm fortunate enough to have my 1987 version of this in playable shape... the re-release keeps getting delayed. An excellent gateway game to the Call of Cthulhu RPG and H.P. Lovecraft's fiction in general. It's oozing with flavor and theme, and it's a cooperative game and a players vs. the game.

Simplistic, but great theme and an interesting gameboard which only works with the lights off in the room.

Rob Martin has an excellent horror-themed game list, and this one is on it. Justifiably so. This game was a gateway game to the old Chill RPG, and it was better than the RPG itself. It's plagued by a bit of chaos and the potential for endless gameplay, but it works very well with a group of people in the right spirit.

Immersion Games have a couple of Halloween appropriate games for sale. This one is Invasion of the Body Snatchers, with secret identities (aliens masquerade as townsfolk) and lots of flavor.

The other spooky-themed game on Immersion Games' slate. This one faithfully recreates the Friday the 13th "psycho in the woods" genre.

Most agree that this game isn't merely a merchandising exercise, but a "real" game. Fun to play even if you don't follow the show.

How can you go wrong on Haloween than by playing the suppliers to made scientists? This is actually an intriguing market based game of buying and selling - but what your selling are the parts the local Mad Scientist's need to create their next monstrosity. How much more Haloweeny can you get?

A witch race seems like a perfect fit for the Halloween theme
(I should add a better image of this. The images included really don't show how the game is meant to be played )
