So every year my church has a Chinese auction to fundraise for building repairs. Last year, I donated two group of games to auctioned off. Money is tight this year, so I'm only going to put together one group... so my choices need to be a bit more thoughtout. I also want to choose games that I did not choose in previous years.

I am looking to spend $100 - $150 total on at least 4 games.

Requirements:

1. Games should be assessible to anyone.
2. Games should be relatively inexpensive.

Last year, each group had a party game, abstract game, two player/ card game, and a light strategy game (there was some overlap, of course).

I like this distribution, and I'd like to stick close to it.

Thanks!!

I'm leaning toward Qwirkle for the abstract game in the bunch.

I know a few people at the church already have it, so there's already some familiarity there. It's a great game, that's easy to teach (and it's pretty cheap, too).

Last year's abstract games:
Blokus
Ingenious: Travel Edition

I don't really play party games very much, so this one is totally up in the air.

I'd imagine any type of party game would do, as by definition they're good choices for my purposes.

Last year's party games:
Dixit
Wits and Wagers: Family

I don't think this would be too difficult for the strategy game in the bunch. It's gone over well with some other people at the church already.

Last year's strategy games:
Carcassonne
Ticket to Ride

This one is also totally up in the air. It can be a card game/ or a two-player game/ or both... The only reason I chose this one is because it fits both, and it was designed by a Pittsburgh native (and its a great game).

Thoughts?

Last year's games:
Lost Cities
...I can't remember the other game
