A lighter turn out than usual at first but a big group later on. We started at noon in our usual place (Planet Linux Caffe in Coral Gables, FL). This is the gaming group for the r/miami subreddit from Reddit.com. We started in June and meet, more or less, every other Sunday from around noon to 6PM. This was our 10th session. Message me if you're around the Miami area and are interested in more details.

This game felt a lot like Lock and Key but with more strategy. It was all of our first time playing it. We played with three players and wound up finishing with 15/15/13.

Then the three of us played Small World. This game was a little more time consuming than Smash Up even though two of the three of us had played before. We had fun and it wound up being a fairly close game (for 2nd and 3rd). The points were something like 112/96/92.

Someone arrived in the middle of the Small World game, so I had a side game of chess going with him. It was a close game for the first half of so, then I pulled ahead and we called it.

Four others arrived right as Small World was wrapping up so they decided to wait so we could all play a larger group game. We were choosing between Bang, Flux, We Didn't Playtest This at All, and Werewolf. Werewolf wound up winning. We played two games:

1st: Werewolf, Lone Wolf, Seer, Hoodlum, Hunter, and Villager. (Seer killed first night, Lone Wolf killed first day, Hunter killed second night who then killed the Werewolf - Hoodlum and Village won)

2nd: Werewolf, Sorcerer, Spellcaster, Seer, Beholder, and Lycan. (Lycan killed first night, Sorcerer killed first day, Seer killed second night, Werewolf killed second day - Village won)

Two others arrived during the second Werewolf game. After it finished, we split into two groups. I didn't catch what the other group played.

The group I was in (five of us) played Agricola. Only two of the five of us had played before, so it took a while to explain the rules. We ran out of time before finishing, but it was looking very good for the people who'd played before by when we finished (round 12), for predictable reasons. This was my first time playing 5 player Agricola offline. I like that the game seems a lot less cut throat than the three player version, due to resource availability. However, we played the family version, so maybe that makes a difference.

While we were playing, four or five other people arrived and played Zombicide until the venue had another event and had to kick us out (6PM).
