Numbers are down, to 102 plays of 6 different games and no new games (one older one got dug out)
WWE Raw Deal 46
Heroscape Marvel: The Conflict Begins 8
Conan Collectible Card Game 6
Mansions of Madness 2
As the overall number went down, that meant a percentage increase in the total amount of plays contributed by the top two games. That's really all I can say about them, trucking along at their steady paces. Thunderstone got twice the standard amount of plays for two reason. One, 10 plays got it to 150 plays overall, nice round figure, which I like. And two, on the off-chance I do get my hands on Marvel Legendary, TS wouldn't have gotten plays in December and been stuck on 145.
Heroscape Marvel got a resurgence by giving me a taste of Marvel in one form or another. Marvel Heroes was a bit too deep in the pile to dig out, but Heroscape filled the need just fine. Finished off the set of Conan plays that begun last month, still on the lookout for a few more cards, but given the rarity of them available, doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon.
It was a yellow month in Mansions of Madness, another play of Yellow Sign and also a second run of Yellow Matter. Unlikely to see plays in December, need to get the Descent 2nd edition campaign back into action.
Hi! I'm Macaos. A cute, kind, sporty and fun Bearded Collie. I enjoy lying under the table when Macao is on the table.
Not so many games played this month, and only one new game played. I missed some game nights, due to a lot of late nights at work.
I really hope to play more games in December, and I really need to play some more unplayed games before this year ends. We'll see.

New to me
New Game of the Month: Wrong Chemistry. The only new game I played. But I enjoyed it. Played it with my mum, and she liked it too.
New Games in the Collection: Amber, The Cave, Garden Dice, Gauntlet of Fools, Mercurius, Nieuw Amsterdam, Robinson Crusoe: Adventure on the Cursed Island, Wrong Chemistry.
This quickly became one of my favorites. As one of the last games I played, I introduced it to some friends who don't play many board games. They loved it and it was a big hit. I absolutely love how the cards modify or change the game and how the Aliens contradict just about everything, but in a fun and strategic way.
Others (close 2nds for me this month)
Shadows over Camelot -7
Haven't played a lot past month for several reasons. Mostly played solo LOTR:LCG (new to me excellent Return to Mirkwood scenario, Dain rules! Go Dwarves! )
19x The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game (Return to Mirkwood 17x)
2x PitchCar (new to me, fun dexterity game )
2x WHY?! (new to me, ok for kids )
1x Alhambra (with Magical Buildings)
1x King Me!
1x Zulus on the Ramparts! (new to me, solo wargame)
56 plays in November making it the third highest of the year. It would have been highest in 2011, second highest in 2010, highest in 2009, highest in 2008, highest in 2007 and second highest in 2006.
A number are Yucata of course. This year has certainly "benefited" from my introduction to that website, as well as me finding more ways to sneak games into lessons.

6 Nimmt! was flavour of the month in the classroom as I managed to squeeze numerous games in over the course of the month. A quiet month outside of class/Yucata though as our young child continues to be too young and useless for games, instead just hogging all my wife's time. Managed one games evening with King of Tokyo (hate that game), Infarkt (always amusing) and Twilight Struggle (always a pleasure).
New games to me were Antike Duellum and Two by Two.
For December I expect a large increase in face-to-face plays with my returning back to England and the Christmas period. Happy days.
Board Game: Zendo
[Average Rating:7.29 Overall Rank:696]
Zendo fan, Columbus Blue Jackets fan, Dominion Fan.
Giant Zendo! All five of the plays of my most-played game of the month were with Giant pyramids at the CABS After Turkey Day Game Fest.
In fact, most of my plays for the month were at After Turkey Day. I missed the entire first half of the month with a mild but lingering illness but made up for it at ATD. After Turkey Day is a 48 hour event that runs from 6am on Black Friday to 6am that Sunday. For the third year in a row, CABS managed to stay open the whole time, with late-night Werewolf providing the overnight gaming on Friday night that got us through until the early birds showed up on Saturday morning. I only managed to join one of those games.
My second most played game of the month was No Thanks!. I taught it to my mom and my sister on Thanksgiving Day and I guess it was a hit since we played it four times. My mom's standard mantra is, "That's too complicated," and my sister says she doesn't have the patience for games. But no complaints about this game.
There were five games tied for 3rd place with 3 plays each. All three Dominion plays were in the CABS Dominion League. Pandemic hit the table twice, but one of those times we had a quick loss so we reset and went again. I had three plays in two sessions of the new Looney Pyramid game called Pink Hijinks, as well as three plays in one session of the old Looney Pyramid game called Treehouse. Finally, I played The Resistance: Avalon three times in succession.
In all, I had 17 played of 8 pyramid games, including another play of my prototype, which I started working on in October.
Blasts from the past (at least a year since the last play)
1000 Blank White Cards (last played November 2011) - I had to change the header from "more than a year since the last play" to "at least a year..." because my play of 1KBWC was exactly 1 year to the day after my previous play. I play 1KBWC every time I go over to Keith and Jan's house, and I always have a great time. I play it infrequently so it never gets old. Maybe that's the secret.
The Castle of the Devil (last played October 2008) - This is my first play of the English-language edition. I'm sure it won't be the last.
Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of Ashardalon Board Game (last played June 2011) - I've played the other two games in the series since the last time I've played this one, so I guess we should mark this with an asterisk or something.
Launchpad 23 (last played April 2011) - I like IceDice a lot more than this, the "other game" included in the IceDice product.
Pink Hijinks (last played June 2011) - This was released last week, but I played a prototype at last year's Origins.
Win, Lose, or Banana (last played June 2009) - CABS now has this, so I pulled it out while we were setting up another game. Silly fun, but I prefer the original edition.

It was ideal when I was on a small journey with friends from who their 8 year old daughter likes a lot of games, that and doing 2 demo's for my local FLGS helped as well.
Finally I was very happy to get another game off Deathwatch at the table, that was great fun. Plus I ended the story line for LA Noire so that will not show up to much on the lists anymore.
Games, games and more games!
208 plays of 82 distinct games
A good month of gaming, with our annual games order arriving, so new games to try and explore, as well as lots of old favourites. Gaming mainly with adults this month too, so not so many children's games as usual hitting the list.
All games listed twice or more listed here, or the list gets too long. Games new to me marked with a star. Games played with adults in bold, those with children not.
The City (We've been playing this 3 times most lunchtimes, and it soon ramps up the plays - excellent 5 minute filler!)
Magic the Gathering (One weekend my husband and I decided to have a day of Magic playing)
Innovation (Our other lunchtime game)
Seasons (Our two new shorter games both get 7 plays in their first month, which is quite impressive)
Race for the Galaxy (Sudden resurgence in plays for no apparent reason - not that I'm complaining!)
Magic Cauldron Game
Maisy Lotto (my 2 year old's 2 favourite games this month)
The Bucket King
Da Vinci Code/ Coda
Dominion (to try out Dominion: Dark Ages)
D&D Castle Ravenloft
Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs
Tzolk'in: the Mayan Calendar
You don't need any more.
A good month of gaming, definitely! Sentinels holds the top spot and is quickly becoming my favourite cooperative game. But can it top Arkham Horror? We'll see.
A bunch of new games, Archipelago is complex but awesome at the same time. Chicago Express I got from Secret Santa and so far my plays were great, it especially seemed to shine with 4 players.
Mage Knight is pretty good, even if I had a lot of suspicions about it. The puzzle aspect really does work!
I got my custom set of Faces cards from Artscow (thanks for the idea, Tom Vasel!) and played one game of hilarity so far. In the same vein I also tried Cards Against Humanity, which did fit my sense of humour well (scary?).
Finally, I got to try X-Wing which - even if my team lost horribly as the Empire - was a pretty great miniature skirmish game. Looking forward to playing it more.

Last November was memorable in that I record the highest number of plays in a month so far, with 54 plays!
= 5 Plays
I made a conscious effort to get more games of this in, and while I did horribly in several games I did manage to win my last game, which had the Agricola: Farmers of the Moor expansion included. Great game to play even when you are losing, this one!
= 5 Plays
This continues to be requested by my wife, thus will continue to get plays!
= 5 Plays
The resurgence of WHFB games is because I have joined this year’s annual Gladiator cup league. I;ve won my 5 games so far, using my Lizardmen, and I should be a shoo in for the finals in December. I hope I win and bring home the bacon!!!
= 4 Plays
I’ve also made an effort to get in more games of this, since I wanted to see how 7 Wonders: Cities will affect the game. It turns out the effect isn’t so much, but I like the addition of an 8th card and this remains to be a light fun game for me!
= 4 Plays
This has become a requested game of my nephews during family gatherings, and is hotly sought after by many gamers here (I’ve received several offers for it, with items which are worth far more than KOT, but I’ve always said no!). I’ve pre-ordered the expansion and I can’t wait for it to come.
= 3 Plays
This is becoming the Feldian game of choice by the gals at my FLGS, as it is relatively simple and they have become much better at it and are starting to beat me.
= 3 Plays (NEW)
One of my new games of the month (purchased together with the Pandemic: On the Brink expansion) which needs more plays with more people in order for me to judge the game better. Should get more plays as it is an easy game to carry around and to teach.
= 3 Plays
My games of PR are getting more competitive and cutthroat as the gals are really getting into the game. I’ve lost the last couple and I’m raring to get back at them as well as trying out more buildings from the Puerto Rico: Expansion I – New Buildings.
= 3 Plays
Got our own copy as a gift to my son Shawn, we haven’t gotten a game in with other members of the family, although the gals at the FLGS love this game. Should have no problem getting more plays in the future.
= 2 Plays
Got to teach this to my brother, and this was his ever play of a euro. Has gotten less plays recently due to my focus on Agricola last month.
= 2 Plays
Should continue to get sporadic plays, as Shawn loves airplanes. It’s a good game that deserves more plays though. I will try to bring it out more often.
= 2 Plays
I’m finding this to be a really neat game. The gameplay is very streamlined and so far I have found it really is a true hybrid game. Raiding is awesome, especially when played with the right group!
= 2 Plays
Now played with all the buildings from the expansion, I’ve been on a losing streak versus the gals at the FLGS or versus my daughter Sharlene (14 yrs old). Need to get back to winning with this game!
= 2 Plays
I’ve been finding that this is really not a beginner’s game, and really needs more plays to understand how the different factions work. I find the 15 point victory condition a bit steep, and have been experimenting with 12 as the target, as well as having the number of bases = number of players, with a minimum of 3 bases.
= 2 Plays
The plays with my family have been quite competitive as of late. My wife seems to have a lock on this game as she has been winning recently. We've been playing now with the Stone Age: The Expansion expansion.
= 2 Plays
The gals have found Trajan to be a real brain burner. I initially did too but I am slowly starting to get why a lot of people like this game. There are really many pathways to win and I want to try a different approach to each game I play.
= 1 Play
Still have not gotten how to really maximize the ways to earn points in this game. Needs to get more plays, and I will try to bring this out more often.
= 1 Play
KOT has now become the staple for easy and simple competitive games, but I will make an effort to bring this out more often since it still remains a nice and funny game with a great theme.
= 1 Play
This seems to get plays only when my son Sherwin’s (17 yrs old) buddies come to the house. The play we had this month had 6 heroes, who I accommodated by having 5 skulls spawn instead of 4. The game took 3 hours though but it was fun, and the heroes won again.
= 1 Play
Should continue to get plays, though not too often. Still a great abstract game.
= 1 Play (NEW)
Got this in a math trade and managed to get a play in on November 30. It was OK but I need more games to get a better grasp of this. I think it is better than Dominion though, although I still have to try that game out.
Zooloretto 2 (new to us - gift)

Total: 47 plays of 6 games
No doubt about our most played game! With this, we broke 100 plays of Magnate.
A better month than last month for playing games. Not as much as I would like, but at least in double digits.
I had a tie this month, but I played Revolution! on two different occasions, so it gets the tie breaker. A variety of games this month. A group of new games I enjoyed. One I hadn't played in years (Metropolys), and some to play with family during Thanksgiving (Wits & Wagers and Catan). I was able to teach Catan to my sister in law who lives in Los Angeles, who had been wanting to play it after hearing about it. I also taught my brother in law, who had never heard of it. I found it ironic since he had bought me the game 5 years ago (I didn't tell him; I know he just went off a Christmas list my wife gave him so he wouldn't have remembered).

November gaming was pretty decent - not a ton of games played, but we played the ones I was hoping to get to the table. In the meantime I really ramped up my plays on Yucata.de.
Since I didn't have any one game hit the table more than once, I'll give the shout-out to Clue, just because it's an awesome classic.
Here were my face-to-face games for the month, all at one play each. Bold = new to me.

For the first time in a long time, my most played game for the month wasn't Bridge, but an unpublished prototype of mine. It's a two player, asymmetric game, requiring more playtesting for balance than normal, and it can be played in 10 minutes, allowing such playtesting to be fit in easily. As a result, it racked up 20 plays for the month - far more than my usual number of Bridge plays, and well beyond the scant 5 I got in this month.
Being a Lions fan is a gift...
...and a curse.
Well, I guess the positive is that I played twice as many games as last month. I think the negative is the fact that last month was so bad that even doubling that number didn't make November great. We have had a few more game nights with family and friends which has been great, but there are still a lot of other activities using up our time. Most played this month is a tie but I'll give the entry to King of Tokyo. It has become a favorite amongst all the folks we game with, and Bonkers already got the recognition in my New to You entry.

85 - 205 - 54
My incredible playing streaks continues... I am quite surprised myself that I broke last month's record again. 205 plays of 54 different games in November! And, what's maybe even wilder, I have logged at least one play for the last 85 consecutive days. That is definitely longer than at any time in my life before.
Kleine Fische leads the list; a favorite of both of my children (although they haven't demanded it for a few days now). I don't mind the game, it is quick and harmless. Train of Thought with my wife comes in second.
Bold games were new to me; the best new game was probably Verräter, but some of the other new games will also see more plays, I assume.

The undisputable favorite of my gaming group in November was newly acquired Acquire. I got it as my birthday gift and everyone started loving this oldie immediately. Now I understand, how 50+ year old game can stay around for so long and be so popular. Definite must have for every gamer.
The other item from list to mention, is new Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island. Just couple of games played yet, one loss, one win, but after reading recently released FAQ I see, that we played some rules wrong. Unfortunately rules seem to be the main problem for this overall good and thematic game.
And of course, yesterday first time tried Wilderness. It has lots of potential to become one of my favorites. Not sure about replayability though.
