This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

Inside still manufactured sealed and unpunched; Outside basically brand new (no shrink, if it even came in shrink). I played a quarter of it by myself -- pretty fun. In the trade pile it goes anyways, 2 player games are hard to get on the table.
Stopped at the Arc this morning near a friend's place. With some really bi-polar pricing. Apparently they think that a battered Scotland Yard is worth $10 and a shrink-wrapped Jurassic Park game is $3. Who would pay $6 for small magnetic Chinese Checkers that probably came from the dollar store?
Apples to Apples was $3. Excellent condition. Probably make a gift of it.

I'm new to the Thrift/Bargain guild and am so happy to find these listings!
I found this at a garage sale this summer, but figured I should put it in the current listing.
I knew it was a good find since games were marked at 50¢. This game didn't have a sticker on it, but was in the "collectible" section of the sale. I had arm loads of other items, so when I went to pay I mentioned that it had no price on it and asked if they'd take 50¢ for it...and they did! I was so thrilled! All pieces are there and it's in perfect working order. Doesn't even look like it's been played!
