This Geeklist is a compilation of the board game reviews I'll be doing in a series called Radio Reviews.

You can also follow Radio Reviews on our Facebook community page.

In these reviews, I'll try to focus more on the component make-up, mechanic explanations and a general rules overview than sharing a bunch of personal evaluations of the game. Hopefully I can share some insight to those that are interested in a particular game, at least that is my goal.

Thank you for reading and if you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to send me a message or post below.

Click here to view the Radio Review for Core Worlds: Revolution.

Revolution is the 2nd expansion for the Core Worlds base game. Instead of adding whole new game mechanics (as was the case with the 1st expansion, Galactic Orders), Revolution attempts to strengthen already existent mechanics by widening the focus on Advancements and Heroes.

A new deck of Advancements are included and can be attached to player's Worlds to possibly increase the Energy, Empire Points, and special abilities that the World can produce. Each individual Hero now comes with their own Tactic deck, which can be drawn and played from while the corresponding Hero remains in the player's Warzone.

While a more minor expansion than the bulkier Galactic Orders, Revolution's dedication to focusing on improving established mechanics makes for a much smoother game experience, and is a must have for any Core Worlds fan.
