This is your sneak peak at...Legendarily Epic...Epically Legendary....Legendarily Epic: A Genuinally Faux Collection Building Game set in the Board Game Geek universe. To set up the game, players choose a number of board games (Agricola, Merchants and Maruders, Puzzle Strike) and stack them together on a shelf; since players use only a a few shelves to hold thousands of games on the geek, the shelf can vary widely in terms of what's available. Players then choose a villain (Spouse Aggro, Unresponsive Kickstarter Publisher, Time-stealing job etc.), and stack that particular villain's attack cards nearby.

Over the course of the game, players will purchase more great board games games to add to their shelf in order to build an entertaining and and enjoyable shelf of games. Players need to build both their purchasing powers (to get more games) and their entertainment value (to combat the boredom of friends who keep popping by to play games and eat your food). Players purchase games from an array of six websites (like coolstuffinc), At the start of a player's turn, he reveals a friend who dropped by and adds it to the row of friends already at your house.. Your house has a limited number of spaces, and if it fills up, the earliest earlies friends get bored and leave, possibly punishing the you in some way. Some friends also take an action when showing up for the first time, such as raiding your fridge, smudging your newest game with chocolate covered fingers.

Here are a few of the sample games and their effects. Please add any rumors of games or masterminds that you heard was going to be in this genuinely faux game.

Cost: $26.85
Entertainment: 7

Effect: Gain one expansion per turn

Designer's Notes: Carcassonne is especially useful for the Economy player who wants to get their engine up quickly with high entertaiment for low dollars...however you may consider trashing this later on before your shelf is hopelessly clogged with useless expansions (like the Catapult)

Main: Give rule book to another player who must immeditally lose 2 days deciphering a FFG rulebook.

Designer's Notes: This is an expensive chip which a similiarly high entertainment value for your friends...but its real value is in its ability to disrupt other players strategy. If your facing someone trying a rushdown strategy, this is your answer
