This game has been getting a lot of play on the store copy. Saturday night it looked like four were playing. CB got a biohazard scar thrown down on his home base devil He decide to abandon the base and take it back at some point later if he needed the point.

I am SPARTA-cus

CB's request that I've been trying to get to the table for about three weeks - This was a do or never do night and we were able to set up a four player game

I having the most experience took every advantage I could - I was able to secure Host 3 times and with my power I kept inviting CB to the arena - CB’s gladiator was torn up by a thirteen year old Dominus, one of the youngest Dominus in Roman history. Not being very happy the host put the Gladiator to death - Towards the end I saw an opportunity CB had purchased The Thing in the Pit an awesome brute and knowing he would feel confident in pitting him against anyone’s gladiator as the host I called CB to the games. As predicted stepping into the arena "The Thing in the Pit" I then called myself knowing if I win I’ll win the game.
As soon as everyone placed their bets I played the reaction card that allowed me to replace The Thing in the Pit with a much weaker gladiator.
Our first exchange of blows showed the resilience of my gladiator as I struck back causing four wounds. It was just a second round that would show fatal to the poor wounded gladiator as he fell to his knees, his head rolling across the area, cheers blasting with approval.

Tony - Champion

Power OVERWHELMING!

Cates Protoss
CB Zerg Overmind
Brian Zerg Queen of Blades
Jed Terran Jim Raynor
Mark Terran Arcturus Mensk

CB jumped out to the early lead with a nice 2 point starting planet and a nicely protected alley on one side of the board. (Really strange setup occured where 4 planets were accessible by only two sides). CB had a clear starting advantage and I race to get to the protected planets. Mark and I made a truce on one end. Jed fought CB, Mark fought Brian, and I turtled. I teched up to Archons and went after CB. Jed took down CB's home world and Brian and Mark slaughtered each other with all manner of beasts and weaponry including NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED.

We all thought the 2nd "End is near" card would come out but it didn't allowing me one more turn. No one could attack my bases directly because of my defenses and I had a card that allowed me to buy a point at the beginning of the regrouping phase. I got 5 points in the last round to bring me to 15 points.

Cates 15
CB 14
Mark 7
Jed 2
Brian 0 (He said he doesn't play this type of game to win)

Cody and I played several games of Star Wars the Card Game. First we played the straight up Sith vs. Rebel Alliance starter decks. I taught him the game and then beat him quickly by attacking the Death Star with a Wookie Navigator to attack twice.

Then we cracked open a second set and we built new decks. Mine was built around Rebel Assualt getting two of every pod that has that card in the game. He built out a Sith Deck around Vader and Palpatine.

I was able to get out a lot of ships quickly and take down 3 objectives with two "Mobilize the Squadron" cards.

The final game we did a little tweaking to the decks we had and the game was super close. I had taken down two objectives and then he got out Vader and a whole host of advisers locking down the board for awhile and slowly ticking the death star dial each turn. I took a swing but couldn't win the edge battle, then he dropped the Devastator on the table and took out my third objective for the win. Looking at my next hand I would have had an easy time getting the final objective.

Cody and I played this at the end of the night. I ran a combat deck and he ran the questers. I got a troll attacking me second turn I was able to hold him off one turn giving Gimli 4 damage, 1 away from death. Next turn I let an eagle take the damage from the Troll. Gimli gets strong er with more damage so he put 6 damage on the Troll, then Legolas fell to the Troll and Gimli finished him off. The rest of the game I limped along without Legolas while Cody was able to get his resource engine going and get out several allies and attachments.

When we got a special Giant ally on our side I said, okay let's take it to the Trolls and we entered the final phase of the quest. All four Trolls attacked me and wiped me out in one turn due to my threat dial going above 50. I was able to take one down with me. The trolls went back to the staging area and Cody managed to pick off the remaining three 1 by 1 with a very good deck that that was producing plenty of resources with the "Resourcefulness" attachment.

3 players Brian, Patrick and myself
Brian and Patrick's 1st game the building's went up fast and Lincolns visits were split between the three towns I was lucky to pull the fourth visit giving me two extra towns - that last one I almost forgot to add and the scoring showed how important it was - I had a total 11 building and Patrick had the second most at 10.

Patrick 2nd
Brian 3rd

Patrick opted out so I played him in Warhammer Invasion on the side.

Cates - Brotherhood of Yin (Mutated Clones)
Michael 1 - Fedration of Sol (Human Space Marines)
Jake - Jol-nar (Techie Aliens)
Michael 2 - ?
Joel - ?
Jed - Baroney of Letev (Grey Aliens)

Michael went with the early lead by picking 8. I took Warfare and raced out to Mecatol Rex. Jed and I had a truce and Michael and I also had a truce that I pretty much planned to cancel at first chance but he kept helping me so much how could I attack? So basically I built up an armada on Mecatol Rex unchallenged scoring points every round and I actually took 8 in back to back rounds because Joel and Jed both passed on taking it. Easy 4 points right there, like Brian doesn't play to win, I think these guys operated under the same strategy.

Jed and Michael 1 had a blood feud while Jake brutalized Michael 2. Joel and Michael 2 also fought some serious battles and I just coasted to victory.

Not this game but Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG (the geeklist doesn't include RPG items).

I ran my first RPG and while we didn't get too far there were already 5 dead adventurers out of 20! They basically got into the courtyard with little to show for it.

The next day we continued through the keep. C.B., Jed, and Cody carried a few extra characters through to fight the beastmen. Many brave villagers fell to the beast men. One of their own even turned on them from the corruption encountered at the Well of Souls.
