Welcome to the Semifinals for the Derk Cup!

The polls are now closed. Jump to the final here.

The final four - including a rematch of last year's championship round. Your votes will decide who our final two will be.

There is a quarterfinalist placement vote as well. This second poll is just for fun to determine the order that the designers will be listed in the final results geeklist. These votes will not count toward anything official so don't take this one too seriously.

The semifinals end on Friday, February 22, 2012 at 12:00 am (BGG time).

The Derk Cup is awarded each year to our favorite designer. In celebration of the minds behind the games, 64 designers (or design teams) face off in a head to head, bracketed, single elimination tournament.

How the Tournament Works:
Designers were seeded using my top secret ranking method with stats collected on January 7, 2013.
There is a poll for each pairing. Vote for your favorite designer. Unlike previous tournaments, this year you may vote for both designers if you cannot decide. The poll will last for around four days.
The designer with the most votes when the poll closes will move on to fight another day. The last designer standing will be the recipient of the illustrious 2013 Derk Cup.
