I'm finishing my build of this one. I've translated the rules in french. I've found the ideal box and the only thing left to do is decorate it.

Got the PnP files for this on the cheap at Wargamevault. This is a simple build as it's just cards.

I am one of the playtesters for this game. I built it a bit earlier in the month. The counters are all big and single sided so it was a pretty easy build. I mounted everything on thin cardboard before cutting.

The latest game in the Game: Shadows Upon Lassadar is a solitaire microgame named after E. Nate Kurth. I haven't had a chance to play yet, but it looks pretty good. Only 18 cards so it doesn't take a lot of time to build or a lot of ink.

I am not the biggest fan of Delve the Card Game, but I couldn't resist this new version by Jeffrey Barnes. The artwork is awesome and theme seems to work really well with the mechanics. This one has a lot of cards so it takes a bit more time to assemble. I printed the card backs too so my blue ink cartridge has taken a nasty hit.

Ouch, March is almost over! It's been a while since I last post on the PnP monthly geeklist.

This game is currently live on kickstarter. One thing that struck me was the artwork. I really like it and knowing that it's a wargame, it's a plus for me (although I'm not entirely a wargamer).

I'm considering whether to back or not. The game looks simple but I just admire the artworks. They recently announced that one of the stretch goals is playing against Cthulhu. It seems like a long way to hit the mark though.

Anyway, they released a demo version to public on their website. So I thought I'd give it a try to see if I like the mechanics/system.

Website: devil pig games
Kickstarter: Heroes of Normandie

What: Free demo game
Materials: Cardboards, printed materials from webstie, and tools.

I had this game for a while, but just recently got introduced to Age of Industry. I got hooked instantly and went back home to learn Brass: Lancashire immediately!

Players who have played the 2p version (unofficial) of this game said the variant (here) works brilliantly. So I thought it would be a good addition to the game by printing out the 2p map created by Jake (here).

Of course, it's completely unnecessary as you can also use some unused cards to cover the unused locations.

Oh, since Brass didn't come with the cool individual player mat like in Age of Industry, I thought I'd print out that one too. I printed out this one: Brass: Player display - english version.

What: 2p map and player mats
Materials: A4 paper, cardboards, duct tape (to join the boards), cutting tools

Whipped this up for the kids a couple of days ago. They seem to be enjoying it quite a bit. Not too challenging but there is some good math for my first grader to work on with this. Not one for the grown-ups at game night but great for younger kids, especially if they're already into Pokemon.
