GCL Phoenix 2013 Madness Tournament - Round 3 (Mar 29 - Apr 1)
- PhoenixUnited States
To remind you, here's the rules:
1) The tournament will run in six rounds (64->32; 32->16, 16->8, 8->4, 4->2, 2->1). This is round 3 out of 6. I'll build a new geeklist for each round. Each list will be up for three days, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to play. Voting will be done by contributing (which I'll provide!) to the games you want to support in each list. The second round follows the tournament diagram: winner of the matching first round games against each other. There's a nice mathematical formula for it - but I'm sure you don't want me to list it here. This round, and each subsequent round of the tournament will finish at 1000 PDT plus extra time - so April 1, 2013 at 1000 PDT for this third round match - all per the tournament chart. Any votes in the last 10 minutes of eligibility (for any pairing) will extend the deadline for 10 minutes (for all pairings): this rule will apply repeatedly *. (rynelf is not eligible to vote in extra time under any circumstances, 'cause I don't trust him.)
*: that's why the first round ended at 2230.
2) Entrants are BennyD, Dormammu, Eeeville, Hawkeye77, Lowengrin, Morganza, Mr_Nuts, Taibi, ravenskana, rynelf, tjshields, woodnoggin. Each of you have been provided 1.89₲₲ total to spend over the six rounds of the tournament. If in any round you exceed that sum in total votes spent, ALL your votes will not count in that round (nor in any following round.) There's no obligation to vote at all - other than a possibly misplaced desire to see excellence prevail. Others are welcome to comment, vote with thumbs, or vote with ₲₲, but while your comments will be read with amusement, your votes will be ignored. In the unlikely event of a tie, the lower seed will advance. My count is final.
