I was listing out games for the iOS to a friend, which surprised me of some key games not out there (or on Android). So I thought it would be a good geeklist by listing which games SHOULD be out there and surprised they aren't. (This differs from the past iOS geeklists by WANT.)

For games I'm surprised aren't released and SHOULD release, I think many of the criteria below should be considered:

1) Accessibility. The smartphone and tablet user base is far greater than the BGG and hobby gamer base, thus should have games which are more accessible to the masses, such as complexity, theme, time, etc. More accessible games will get bought more on these devices and may lead these users in picking up the physical game.

2) Popularity. The more times a game is owned, played, visible in the stores, visible in mainstream areas, or recommended, it should have enough users familiar with it and will be more likely to download it once released.

3) Easy to implement. Most users want online play, offline pass-and-play, and solo play versus AI. Some games with real-time play, simultaneous play, turn interrupt play, timed play, 3-D minis, dexterity, human interaction/bluffing, etc are harder to implement in these devices. Games without these should have less barriers.

4) Game is not Out of Print. Part of the reason to release games on mobile devices is to get people interested in the game and drive sales to the physical version. I don't think companies would be excited about paying coders to release a game which won't be manufactured.

Please add in games you're SURPRISED aren't released and SHOULD be released.

This could be any of the current Axis & Allies games. Although it's a longer game and has reduced accessibility, I feel it is very well-known by having previous video games for the PC, versions sold in non-FLGS, many versions released, and many here (and not on BGG) grew up with it before BGG.

I believe that there are some games that are simply better in computerized form. I always thought that the BSW implementations of Puerto Rico and TransAmerica were great on computers just because the computer handles all the fiddly bits and there is no shuffling, clearing the board, counting tokens -- nothing but pure gaming pleasure.

SotM can be fiddly. VERY fiddly. There's a lot going on, and many's the time that someone says "Wait! I forgot about..." and then a point goes on or comes off a target two turns later. A computerized version would handle all of that.

In fact, I suspect that the game would make a great casual app. Here's your hand. BAP! You did three points. Here's the next hero's hand. POW! You do two points. There are probably some card interactions that might be problematic, but I can't think of any off hand. The "no simultaneous actions" rule is actually a great benefit in this context.

I'd assume that the expansions would be upsell expansions. More heroes! More villains! More environments. The Elder Sign app is probably the model for this.

With more complex games like Agicola making the transition, this could make the jump although multiplayer would be problematic due to the auctions. Good AI could make it fun.

True, there is iGipf, but this is a stand-in for the entire Gipf Project. Imagine a company coming out with the entire series, and including interoperability so that a win in one of the other games would allow the use of a potential in the base game. Each of the games would be fairly easy to translate to the platform, even if AI would be hard to program.
