Was enjoying reading peoples Played games lists from Origins, and while I didn't make it this year I wanted a place to record and remember the great games I've played and people I play with on my Tuesday Night Game Group as I have been learning a lot of games and want to keep track of what I like and didn't.

First game I played with new friends Neil, Grace, and Mark. Learned quickly the deduction game play was one our game group appreciates. This one though did not catch me as grand as a some of the others we played like Love Letter.

I believe this was the second game I learned. First taught to me by Joe. This would be the first of many he has taught me I really enjoyed. While I really enjoyed the game I don't think I would ever get it. Reminded me of a game we played a few weeks later I like even better.

Wow Got hooked by this one. Really enjoyed the lite-ness of it but the depth of it. Also not a long game and we were able to play it multiple times. Sadly took it home to the wife to try and she was less impressed.

So I've gotten to play Biblios a few more times now. Still enjoy it. But I wanted to comment on a new Finn approved variant, with white dice for second place points. Those dice start at 1 and can be adjusted the same as the main dice. I think it adds a whole layer the game and makes it a 2-5 player. Probably still best as a 3-4 players but I like the option. Neil thinks I might grab this before too long, but I don't know, I do enjoy it and for $20 it may be worth picking up.

A fun area control game. Played 3-p with Neil and Grace. I found it to be a lot of fun, with a great combination of strategy and liteness. Not to mention it has sheep. Really enjoyed this one.

First Game I played that I fell in love with and moved to my must have list. I found it on the geek and asked Joe to teach me. We played a two-player game, I pulled out a win somehow. I loved the theme, like a civ/tech. The cards are fun and unique. And the fact that no-one is ever really out of it because of the crazy cards that are level 10. Brought it back and played with some friends and they liked it too.

Got to borrow this one from Neil I believe. Took it home to play with my wife. It was very simple strategy game. Which meant she loved it. She loves the simple and elegant games that you can spend years perfecting a certain strategy. I was so-so about it. With her love of it and it's ability to be a decent gateway, I have it on my radar.

Hmmmm wasn't sure about this one, seemed like it might be good. Played with Neil and Grace. I think was the first evidence that dice games are not my cup of tea. I'll play them occasionally but not on a regular basis. With that said I ended up playing this again with one of the younger boys that come every once in a while.

Played this one with the whole gang. I think there were six of us. Area control game. I thought it was okay, I won which probably skewed it a little in favor. Felt like it would only really shine in a larger context of 5-6 players and just not sure I will ever have that many people often enough to get it on the table.

Another one I borrowed and brought home. The wife and I were unimpressed. After playing Jaipur this just felt clunky and the special cards felt like they got in the way. Happy I purchased Jaipur and not this which was the original two-player I had looked at getting.

It's basically rummy. As a two-player game it's a dude. I would love to see if played as a partner game, as is one of the options. But then again I have a few partner card games we'd rather play (Tichu, Hand and Foot)

Aaah yes, it was a beautiful game. I enjoyed my time playing it but was not overly impressed. If I remember it was Neil, Mark and Grace playing. Mark won. A nice race element to it and the mechanics worked for the game. I just think it was a good game lost in the sea of better games.

Wow....wow...yep got sold on this one. Can't wait for the second print issue. Come Z-man let's get a move on. Played it with Neil and Scott. Had a blast. Loved the engine building, the resource management, variable player abilities. tons of tough decisions that feel very relevant in the moment. Started playing it online, until I can buy the actual game. Would love to see an expansion with more player options and maybe another map. Hopefully it won't do what other expansions have and add a "new" element to the game

This was a fun game to play. I like the interaction and the mechanic was different. But after playing it a few times, I felt there were very few significant choices to be made. If you understood the idea that you "trust the person to tell you what to play" then it's just a matter of looking and making the best choice possible. Still it was enjoyable and Elizabeth liked it when she played her one time coming.

Second game of Read the Rule before you come. It was my first Stefen Feld. Joe taught Neil and myself. I really liked it, could see how it could be tedious with all the different ways of scoring, which I kinda of like but I know would overwhelm most people I play with. But I'm now intrigued to find the perfect Feld game for my collection. I'll probably only get one and want to try them before I purchase so could be a while.

Borrowed from Neil and played with my wife. We liked it a lot. But our immediate comparison as Agricola. Which we both really like. So while it is a good game I feel like we decided it didn't have a place in my collection. But if anyone ever asked to play it I would be so in.

Also thinking about it is a little sad I played this after Agricola because I feel like I would be able to get more people to play this game then I have gotten to play Agricola.

I think I mentioned on Pergamon of a game that reminded me of it and I liked better and this was it. Grace taught a few of us. I don't actually remember, I believe her son was in town to visit. Fun to meet him. I actually enjoyed this game quite a bit. I would put it in the category of Sheepland, Kingdom Builder, Stone Age, etc. I would get it if I had infinite space and more abundant purchase power. With that said I'll play it if I see someone pull it out.

On a slight note this peaked my interest in finding a good exploration game. Have been looking and not really sure where to go. Don't ask my why this was the game that made me start looking for exploration as it has really none of that mechanic in it.

The first game I got to teach. I own and love this game. I actually got for a $1 at yard sale. Played with Mark, Neil and James. We got beat down pretty quick. As co-ops go it's not the hardest and the mechanics are simple, but by the end of some intense games I've had friends yelling at the board "Run, Frodo, Run!"...well actually now that I think about it Frodo usually dies when we play.

Another Co-op game I played with a couple of our younger attendees and their mom. I enjoy Shadows over Camelot occasionally. Sadly one of our fellow knights was in no mood to cooperate with the others and kept putting siege engines on the board despite our pleas and protests, meaning you could pretty much tell from the start we were going to lose. I will note we were not playing with the traitor. It killed some enjoyment of the game, but hey I remember those days when I was a mischievous young man.

This was also the day I played another King of Tokyo with the older brother. I enjoyed it a little more this time around.

Kept seeing Mark, Grace and Neil play this. Wasn't sure about it. Finally played with Neil and Mark and loved it. So lite and the deduction is a mechanic that I'm learning I enjoy more and more. And after having introduced some none gamer to bang! I think this might be another they would enjoy. Only down side is the 2-4 player limit. Would love to be able to play up to 6 or even 8
