CLOSED - NO TRADE FOUND

OK, I haven't tried this recently, so - why not.

For trade - one copy of Jati. 1965 3M edition, 10x10 board, in reasonably good shape for it's age, and 100% complete. Will be shipping insured anywhere in the world.

Rules:

1) Each person pays postage & insurance for the game they are sending.

2) Forks are allowed but please fully spell out each fork.

3) Please list and verify the condition and edition of the game(s) you're trying to trade.

What I'm looking for:

Check my want list. But the best start to a trade that will work for me is a wood-box copy of Aeronautika; I'm also very interested in tracking down the promotional pewter start player marker for Kardinal & König / Web of Power:

I'm definitely willing to consider games outside of my want list, though in-print (or recently in-print) games are very unlikely to tempt me. You're much more likely to catch my eye with a game I've never heard of.

The Original Thomas Fackler Metal Edition of Die Mauer.

In excellent condition. I don't think it has ever been played. The box contains three full set-ups. If this is even moderately interesting, I can upload photos tomorrow.

SWEETENER: Square Mile

Condition-- Components: The game is missing 1 piece-- 1 bridge. It looks like this is quite a common missing piece, because on the game's main page in the "more info" box there is this note: "The base map can be played with 13 bridges, but you could theoretically have a river require as many as 15 bridges in the custom setup. (I think 16 total bridges come with it originally, but you'll never need more than 15.)"

All other pieces (including the bills which look unused) are totally accounted for, including one extra boundary marker that isn't needed but there as a back up. The game components look unused but while there is no yellowing of the cardboard pieces, there is a very mild amount of fading from age. The board shows virtually no fading (it looks like the coating or lamination of it kept it sharp.

As I said, the game appears unplayed... several of the tract cards have not been separated from one another which is what I am basing this conclusion on. The board has a small amount of warping, due to boundary markers that are snapped into place permanently on the board. They protrude from the bottom of the game board (this is not a flaw with this copy, it is the very design of the components and the way they snap in.)

All 22 buildings are present and look great (These are plastic molded building in a variety of styles-- factories with smokestacks, etc.)! The insert looks solid, is complete and sure has a lot of separate pieces to it compared to modern games!

The box: Photos below, but the box has some issues, here they are: There are a few pieces of tape (a hand written price sticker from who knows when, and some scotch tape on split corners and some random pieces of clear tape here and there-- as if someone was moving and taped the box.) There is the name of someone above the box title on the cover ("Shroeders") in blue ball point pen. The box is missing a small bit of paper (it looks like someone tried to take some tape off) just above the word "square" in the title. It is about 1/2" by 1.5". There is shelf rub on the cover of the box and shelf wear-- to the point bare cardboard is exposed in some places-- on the seams (see pics). The box top has some waves (like the opposite of dishing) in it because of the way the boundary markers that snap into the board push against the box top. It is not so much that it did not sit flat on my game shelf. Just noticeable if you are holding the box or rubbing your hand over it. The game smells a bit musty. I've read on bgg that putting a clothes dryer sheet in the box will remove this smell, but I have not tried this. It doesn't smell moldy (not like Duel in the Dark did with all its famous mold issues) but more musty... like it hasn't been opened in the 50 years since it was made. Honestly, this is only my second time opening it, and the other was when I acquired it in an auction 3 years ago.
