Games Played at Bay Area Games Day CVI 2013-07-06
- Dave Eisen(dkeisen)United States
Very successful meeting last Saturday even given that it was expected that attendance would be poor because of the 4th of July holiday.
Big Twilight Imperium 3 game going most of the day. Many games of Terra Mystica. Someone even broke out a classic game of Civilization. And I got to play Age of Steam and it looks like there might be renewed interest in a terrific game which seems to have fallen out of favor.
Lots of game bits left behind. We seem to be getting sloppy. Give me a holler if you lost something: On the Underground chit, a Terra Mystica power disk.
Bay Area Games Day is the largest and longest-running regular event for open gaming the San Francisco Bay Area. We meet every 4-8 weeks at the Los Altos Public Library, 13 S. San Antonio Rd., Los Altos, about 15 miles west (north?) of San Jose.
Further information about the group and the related Silicon Valley Boardgamers available at our Yahoo group: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/gamesday
We are meeting again on the following Saturdays: August 3, September 7, and October 5. Here is what we played this week.
