Well I got bored and thought of this idea to see what everyone is playing on a monthly basis. If this idea has been done to death let me know and I will not proceed to do these month after month. What I'm thinking is add an item to the list that is your MOST played game for the month and within that item add in your number and plays and the other 4 games that round out you top 5 so it doesnt clutter up the list. Feel free to add whatever info you would like other than that (for example; your game record, your high score, what you thought of the game, ect.) Time to give it a go.

I was only able to play 20 plays throughout June.

#1: 7 Wonders - 2 Plays - 1 7 player game / 1 8 player game - Record 0-2

Expansions included 7 Wonders: Cities and 7 Wonders: Leaders

I got 2 plays of one of my favorites in. I lost both games by a very small margin. This was the first time Ive played with 8 players and its made me a believer in the fact that you HAVE to take the very best card in each pack because you will not see that pack of cards again.

#2: Kingsburg - 2 Plays - 1 2 Player Game / 1 4 Player Game - Record 1-1

I recently picked up this and played it with the girlfriend who really enjoys it. I then broke it out with my weekly game night with my buddy and his fiance. I won the game versus my girlfriend but she beat us all in the 4 player game. I enjoy this game but feel like I really need to expand it. From all I hear the expansion makes this game a lot better.

#3: Tanto Cuore - 2 Plays - 2 4 Player Games - Record 1-1

A buddy was going to Origins and needed to brush up his skills due to signing up for a couple tournaments. The first game I was on a good roll and won it pretty easy but the second game was a real close contest. My friend and I tied but I forgot how but he won via a tiebreaker. I really like the built in "trashing" mechanic in this game. Interesting theme that I could see turning some people off.

#4: Tribune: Primus Inter Pares - 1 Play - 5 Player game - I was TheWynner 1-0

There are like 15 games with 1 play after the first 3 and I am only going to mention two to round out my top 5. The reason I mentioned this one is because I love this game and this happened to be the first time anyone outside of my friends mom won. We both hit 4 win conditions at the same time and I was able to outscore her victory points by 2. It was a great game. Why don't I own this yet?

#5: Seasons - 1 Play - 4 Player game - Record 0-1

This will have been the last game we play without the Enchanted Kingdoms expansion. Well my buddy and my girlfriend did not enjoy this game as much as they have past games. Loads of cards in play had affects that took crystals from all players and two leeches made you pay to play cards. It was a crazy game but my friends fiance and myself made the best of our situations and she edged me out for the win. The scores were a bit skewed this game which has not been a problem in the past. Scores: Myself 116, Buddy's Fiance 122, My Gf 38, Buddy 51

Ok feel free to leave any comments about layout improvements or whatever you would like. Thanks for your time 8)

Got in 17 plays this month.

1. Yahtzee x6

My wife's favorite game if she's looking for something really light, so we'd played it one evening after a long day. She won convincingly.

2. Dominion x3

Another evening with my wife, we split 1-1-1, I discovered you can handicap Dominion for players with different experience levels. She's find it much more rewarding when it's competitive and has requested this game on game night a few times in July as well.

3. Dominant Species x2

Played it for the first time last month and it's everything I'd hoped for from reading the reviews. I won a 3-player game and came in 2nd in a 5-player game.

4. Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game x2

Played this twice, we won both times. We play this strictly cooperatively. We count it up at the end for fun, but will gladly sacrifice to ensure the team wins.

5. Several other games had one play: Cosmic Encounter, Scrabble, Race to Adventure: The Spirit of the Century Exploration Game and Ticket to Ride

With 6 plays, my clear winner, thanks to Origins. Don't think it has much staying power due to the luck factor, however.

It's summer and not much agming in June. Still, Memoir holds the first place, second place goes to Ra: The Dice Game and 10 games with 1 play each split the 3rd place.
