There's a new kid in town and he's playtesting like crazy. We've made a web series about playtesting games before they come out and keep you informed and up-to-date on their Kickstarters or Game Crafter launches or (if they let us) when the publisher will release the game. So here are a few games that we have playtested. Leave comments for us or the designer of the game. If you want to see everything, you can go to GotGameTesters.com and watch some of our more humorous shows as well.

Very impressive game. We give this game the Got Game Seal of Approval! It's a very competitive game and a group effort is needed in order to keep the game balanced. Though simple in design, the "double-edged card" mechanic is brilliant and we expect that more games will try to use this in their games thanks to Saar Shai. Be careful though, if you don't feel like everyone is equally skilled in this game, it could easily end. All around great game. See our take on it here:

There kickstarter is about to end, but I'm sure it will be available in most retailers.

This is our most recent and we feel like there are very few tweaks left in the game to make it ready for the market. It's a light deck building game (so light it almost doesn't feel like one) that you can introduce as a gateway game for anyone. The theme is good and there is a bit of humor involved as well. We've declared that it's GOT GAME.

See the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6aJfWXML5M

Their kickstarter is coming out September 2013.

Expedite has taken the infamous Ticket to Ride and beat it to a pulp. Have you ever felt like you've been shafted out of that one train route, or that you'll never catch up in points? We have too and we hate it. But expedite has changed our minds about this style of gateway game as you build hubs that you can SHARE points with others, which ultimately does not leave you in the dust because of your small tracks. We definitely give Expedite the GOT GAME SEAL OF APPROVAL. There are very minor tweaks that the designer plans to make in the next game Expedite: North America. Check out our opinions here.

The game has already been released and is on Amazon, but you should keep an eye out for Expedite: North America.

This is definitely a game for the entire family, but not for the gamer. If you ever want to know what game your 4 year old and grandma can handle at the same time, it's Crootle. But this company is not just trying to make games, but they are trying to build a company here in the states to help hard-to-employ people find work. Not the most difficult game, but no one will struggle when explaining this game. Check out our opinions here:

Check out their kickstarter under "Crootle"

This is a simple yet very fun game for the whole family. You are simply building as many hydra heads as you can meanwhile you must stop your opponents from growing too many. Use swords to chop each others heads off and torches to seal them from growing back. The artwork is pleasant and you can introduce critical thinking and puzzle skills to your kids. Awesome game. Two thumbs up. Here's our lengthy take on it.

It's kickstarter will be coming up in a few months.
