Tzolk'in - The Painting of the Wheel(s)
- Tim Collett(tcollett)United States
KansasYou sooo stupid!
Like many others, when I opened the game I thought the wheel screamed to be painted. I saw a lot of people dry-brush their wheels and really liked the way they looked. I wanted my wheels to be grey in color (kind of like stone) and then I would dry-brush some colors on.Recommend
Apparently my dry-brushing skills suck to levels I can't explain. I ended up priming the wheel at least 3 more times because I just couldn't get the desired look. So after a while I was thinking about just leaving the wheels grey.
I then thought I would try to color the wheel one little piece at a time. I figured the worst that could happen is I would be out of time alone and just prime the wheel again. I decided to show step by step what I did as well because after the first night, I realized I was having a really good time doing it.
So here is the process step by step...evening by evening. Now I didn't work on it consecutive evenings, but I did take a picture each night when I decided to call it quits.
