This list has two toppics:
1)
You know the feeling. As an addict to card - and boardgames you really want to visit Essen.
But:
* Your wife (who is not crazy about playing games) does not understand the meaning of it.
* You have some offspring and as a modern father you have to take the responsability to educate them.
* Travelling to Essen, just to buy some games? Pure madness!
Eureka! You finally received the permission to go to Essen. There's only one question to Ask. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO REACH YOUR GOAL?
2)
Suddenly you're in panicking. What will you do in Essen? How does Essen works? Feel free to add some useful tips for "Essenvirgins"

Man, man, man, think of the closest: YOU HAVE FAMILY

You don't go to Essen because you wanna buy games. No.

You want to go to Essen with the kids to
a) show them a new country
b) learn about that country and the people
c) want to educate and broaden their horizon
d) want to show them exemplarily how a German organization works
e) want to meet together with your kids people from all over the world who come together peacefully (one advise: stay away from booth with very limited stock)
f) want them to experience German food

You see, you are not doing that for yourself - you're doing it for THEM !!! So that they have a better start than you had. You want to do things with them and for them they will remember.

Ah, your wife will fell bad and will let you go. And you can forget all of the stuff like massage, cleaning, snuggling... Be a man, grow breast-hair.

Do I want to go to Essen? Not a question - my 7-year old told his Mom that he wanted to go to Essen in his school-holidays and visit his cousin there.

Since he isn't old enough he needed me to come with him and go by train. So you see, since we can't let a 7 year old go all by himself I HAVE TO GO with him - there is no choice for me.

devil

Yes, he is a very clever one - and you like it as long as you don't game against him.

LOL.
