No, not that kind of orientation. Get your mind out of the gutter. Games don't have gender (except for Pretty Pretty Princess, of course, that's the most macho game there is). I mean games where the orientation of the cards is different for different players. There's at least two different ways cards can have different orientations; the two examples I started this list with display those types. If you can think of other types, or other games with those same orientation rules, please add them.

In this game, one player places the cards facing with the top of the card pointing away from him, and the player opposite places them facing toward him. Both players have their cards facing the same direction (let's call it "north"), but one player is sitting facing north, and the other is facing south. So the cards have the same meaning no matter who is laying them, but they are 'upside down' for one player.

By contrast, this game has all players lay cards with the top of the card pointing away from them, and this changes the effect of the card based on who has it. A card that means I get to place a tile in the top center box (relative to me), lets the person on my right lay a tile in the center left box (relative to me), though to her it's also the top center.

The orientation of the pirate cards shows which player they belong to.

Here too, the orientation of a card indicates its owner.

Perhaps a bit beyond your scope, but the card orientation (and position) determines garden plots, and thus player scoring.

All players place one card simultaneuosly on the table - either on the "revolution side" or as a traitor to the "emperor side" - but always ortientated towards the player, so it is obvious, who played what.

Does this one (and all its relatives) belong to this list? The card that is facing to my direction is "my card" and I win if I have more cards (facing to my direction) than my opponent in the end of the game.

This is a two-player game... do these count?
(if yes, then also add
Battle Line
Lost Cities
Summoner Wars
Scarab Lords
Minotaur Lords
Omen: A Reign of War
Hemloch
and so on... I guess asking for multiplayer (3-) games that do this feat brings more interesting examples.)
