Many great games could be much better with an update. Maybe the components need to be reworked. Maybe cardboard counters or faceless plastic pawns need a facelift. Publishers take note!

This game has great mechanics. There is a bit of humor here too. Cardboard pawns just don't do it for me though. Some users have added a grid to the terrain, and this has made a great improvement.

Let's get some miniatures and put grids on those tiles! While we're at it, let's find a way to make those tiles interlocking.

New scenarios in the rulebook wouldn't hurt either.

Fans behind this game have accomplished much, but Hasbro/WotC will never update with a scenario pack. They could have learned much from Arkham Horror and Mansions of Madness. Many players have replaced the monster tokens with miniatures from other games, but again, a set of official miniatures will never happen.

Heavier stock for traits and a better solution to the fiddly strips of paper used to hide the survival values of individual traits would make this fun game much more playable.
