Welcome to Angel Arena! Where the top minds of both runners and corporations battle it out on the lunar surface to see who can become the next:

Iron Android

The Rules
The Challenge will run over 8 weeks and is open to everyone. Each week the contestants will be given an Android:Netrunner card to build a deck around. They will be graded by the community by giving thumbs, and will be judged on the following criteria:

1) Use of the Challenge Card. The challenge card should play a major role in the deck. Ideally, the deck should fail without it.

2) Originality.

3) Description of the Deck. You can post just your deck. But individuals who go the extra mile with the theory behind their card choices are clearly the superior Iron Android.

4) Effectiveness. Can the deck win? How do we know that? Play testing is not a requirement. It's just likely to improve your vote count.

To Enter:
Anyone can enter by posting their deck to the weekly geeklists as a Geek List Item below. Posts in the comments section are still valid, just likely to get lost. If anyone wishes help with posting a new item, let me know.

The winner will be determined by the number of thumbs received by the following Sunday at a mystical time known only as 'when Pete gets his but out of bed and logs on to check the results.' The results will be written in the comments section to record them for the final standings. The next weeks challenge will appear at roughly the same time.

Anyone can vote by thumbing any/all entries they deem worthy of being an Iron Android.

The weekly winner will receive 10 .

The discussion/announcement thread for the entire challenge is here.

Each week the theme will come from one of the factions or neutrals. This makes 1 week for each of the 7 factions and one neutral card.

After the 8 weeks, the votes for each contestant from ALL weeks will be tallied (but only those votes recorded at the end of the week, later votes will not count). Only one submission per week will be counted per person (so if you put two decks in, whichever gets the most votes will be counted to your total). The winner of the final will receive 20 and be forever known as the:

Iron Android

This Weeks Card:

This deck has a fair amount of flexibility.
We can deny the runner clicks, cards, money and life.

Custome Biotics lets us have 22 influence to get everything in.
Haas Archeology lets us advance it for extra clicks. What do we do with those extra clicks?
Most of the Agendas can be installed and then advanced and scored in a single turn. But they are not just there for fast advancing.

Private security force allows us to attack the runner. This provides card denial. We can press the runner into using his precious clicks to draw more cards to avoid getting flat lined. (card denial+ click denial)

Gila and the mine allow us to rake in the money when we need it and we still have extra clicks to boot for that little extra umph.

Ruhr Valley stand to make the runner spend an extra click just to make a run. More click denial.

Efficiency committee nets an extra click. You cant advance or use the extra clicks for advancement, but they can be used for installing, attacking, and other nefarious bits.

Project Vitruvirus lets us get a card back from archives as well as Jackson Howard (if he is somehow killed off before he can fulful his purpose.) These cards also let us get Closed accounts and Scorched earth back. We can kick the runner where it hurts ....right in the bank account. We can also kick them in the teeth with scorched earth. They can only be used of the runner is tagged right?

And that's why we ARE going to tag the runner. See also Data Raven +Ghost branch.

Cerebral overwriter is there just for spite and gives us another face down card to advance that is potentially hurtful to the runner.

As far as ice goes there all there to eat up clicks, cause damage to the runner and in some instances force the runner to eat tags.

So once we tag the runner (they will have to eat tags to make runs) we can then hit them with 4 clicks of damage from the private security force + a scorchead earth. (assuming that we scored private security and efficiency committee and have a click to use from Haas AI.)

EDIT:
This decks seems to play out really well.
The runners see Data raven and stop short because they do not want to eat the tag (especially early on). They are afraid of the closed accounts.
Later on they chance it and eat the tag. But what they never see coming are the security forced plinking down their cards and then finished off with the scorched earth.

"how can you have so much influence in there?"
-> "Custom Biotics has 22 influence"
"ohhhhh..."

Edit2:

There is nothing more satisfying than flat lining the runner through a plastecrete carapace.

This deck just earned itself a theme song:

Fast Advance... It's an archetype done to death, but with Haas Arcology AI and Director Haas it allows for some serious madness, the idea of FAing a card from nil to 6 in a single turn, or installing and advancing 5.

Here's the ideal. Haas AI with 3 counters (Or a Junebug with at least 2 and a Haas with 1), Director Haas, Biotic Labor, or Trick of Light with enough credits to trigger them all. Having all the cards we need to hold on to would be a problem if not for the ability to hold a ridiculous number of cards, enter Cerebral Imaging.

We flesh out our fragile combo with Junebug to keep the runner away from our AI while we're building it up and Snare to scare the runner off our unadvanced servers that could be something we're going to burst through to, or the Director Haaself. Once Mandatory Scores, we should be able to find the tricks to FA just about anything from 0, if not actually from our hand.

As always, hope you enjoy, and hope to hear any comments.

For the sake of something original and out of HB... The goal of this deck is to build secure centrals as well as at least one remote to house the Haas AI instead of what would normally be your remote for agendas. Once installed and advanced your Haas AI then allows you to score out of hand all the low scoring agendas included. Jackson Howard is used to help an early overflow of agendas and Archers make use of what will be an abundant of 1 point agendas. If you are not scoring you should be stockpiling money to help the time you can score.

Agendas:

As mentioned before all the low scoring agendas to score out of hand once Haas AI is in place and protected. There is only 1 agenda for the sake of the needed 20 limit that is not able to be scored this way and hopefully can be scored early or buried with Jackson Howard.

Assets:
Jackson Howard - used to help agenda flood and to recur transaction money if needed.
Haas Arcology AI - used to score out of hand agendas.

ICE:
Includes lots of end of run ice as well as ICE with varied strength to combat the currently popular Atman. Ice Wall can also be used to that effect. Archers are to take advantage of the plethora of 1 point agendas.

Operations:
Transaction Operations to take advantage of Weyland Building a Better World ID. When you are not able to score out of hand you should be stockpiling money.
