Bob's 2013 November Game Sale
- Bob Menzel(baub64)United States
VermontMissed it by that much ...
CLOSED - thank you for your bids!!Recommend
Got a couple of big weekends of gaming coming up, and its time to clear some space on the shelves to make room for ... well, actually, I'm just trying to clear some space and raise some funds.
I will be attending Carnage at Killington in Vermont this weekend, and then I will be gaming in Boston next weekend, so there are lots of opportunities for free shipping purchases if you're going to be at Carnage or Lobster Trap. The auction will run until somewhere around 10 pm EST on Monday, November 11, 2013. That being said, if you are attending Carnage and you see something you REALLY want - geek mail me and we'll see if we can figure something out a little early. I won't let you underbid someone who already has a bid, but if its an item that's still available and you at least offer the minimum bid by midnight on Friday ...
So take a look at the games for sale, and fill some holes in your game collection.
All games will be listed with their condition, a starting bid, and some may have a Buy it Now amount. The starting bid is a soft reserve, and in general I will not take less than that for a game. That being said, if the auction really takes off, I may take some of the underbids, so I guess its worth a shot. Someone posting a BIN will automatically win the game at that point, regardless of any other bids that are out there. In general, if an item is listed as mint in shrink, it looks like what you would get at the FLGS (hopefully, anyway). Some of the games are more like player's copies, so please heed the condition notes - I'm trying to describe the game condition as best as possible, so please make sure to read it.
Bids must be posted in whole dollar amounts.
Shipping: I will primarily ship using USPS - $12 flat rate priority shipping for the USA (unless otherwise noted for smaller items). I use regional rate boxes whenever possible, so the closer you are to Vermont, the cheaper the shipping will be. I also use FedEx for larger packages, so generally the shipping shouldn't be much higher than $15 or so for an individual item. Shipping will be combined for multiple item winners, and I don't charge extra for shipping, so if I can fit it into the flat rate box I will -> if not, I'll move up to the large flat rate box (which is $15) or FedEx Ground for domestic USA bidders. Bigger or smaller items may be more or less and will be noted, and I'm also happy to use regional rate boxes if they are cheaper - I'm not looking to make a profit on shipping, I just don't want to eat it. I will not be held responsible for a package once it leaves my hands even if it is going domestic. If you are worried about package loss or damage, please request insurance - it will be your dime to do so, but I will go through the process of adding it to your postage price.
And remember, if you're at Carnage or Lobster Trap - free delivery!! I will be at Carnage on Friday and Saturday, and I will be at Lobster Trap from Thursday - late Saturday night.
International Shipping: I am willing to ship internationally, but you should geek-mail me before-hand for a shipping quote or look it up on the USPS site. I'm happy to look it up, so please don't hesitate to contact me. I am not intimidated by international shipping. My experience has been that shipping an average boardgame to Canada costs- about $25-30; EU countries are about $40-45; and Asia and South America are around $45-50. Haven't shipped to Africa yet, so ... if you see something you're interested in, let me know. That being said, there is no way to track the package once it leaves the US, so I cannot be held responsible for any delivery difficulties that may occur once it leaves the jurisdiction of the USPS.
Transactions will be done through the BGG Marketplace to make sure that BGG gets its 3%. Preferred method of payment is Paypal. I am willing to do cash for local delivery, and if you are in northern New England we might be able to coordinate delivery - I travel a lot for my job.
Feel free to geek-mail me if you have any questions.
Hope you find something you need to fill a hole in your collection!!
