Card Sleeve Sizes for Games
-
This geeklist is an attempt to list the size and quantity of sleeves needed for various games, old and new.
The discussion thread for this geeklist is here. Please feel free to post comments/additions/suggestions/etc.
There is a separate geeklist here to list games that I'm looking for information about. Generally, a game will be on that list if I have either the card count or size, but not both. Games that I've seen requests for sleeves sizes for, but have no information for will also be there.
Thanks go to Khedron for the original list, and the tremendous amount of work he put into it. Data copied from his list is with his permission.
Please feel free to post comments on the list, but be aware that I may miss them. Please either geekmail me or post on the discussion thread with anything that requires my attention.
I shouldn't need to say this, but...
I strive to make the list as accurate as I can, but sometimes mistakes sneak in. I (sadly) don't own or have access to all of the thousands of games on this list, so sometimes the listed sleeves might just be a guess. If you buy some sleeves and they don't fit, or you know that the information for a game is wrong, please let me know so I can correct it. Yelling at me about how much money you wasted doesn't solve the problem, and it makes me less interested in spending the time and energy to keep the list updated.
General sleeving notes:
Fantasy Flight sleeves have unfortunately been discontinued. The closest in size seem to be Arcane Tinmen, after a great deal of testing by the community. Gamegenic sleeves (which Asmodee is suggesting as the replacement for FFG) are NOT the same exterior dimensions, and are thus not a good replacement when mixed with existing FFG sleeves. Sleeve Kings will also be making replacements for the FFG sleeves, and they should be available in late 2020 or early 2021.
Fantasy Flight Print-on-Demand expansions will not always fit in Mayday sleeves. Fantasy Flight or other slightly oversized sleeves are recommended.
Mayday sleeves tend to vary somewhat in size (especially the non-premium ones). Getting extra packs of sleeves is advised, as some of them may not fit some games.
For games from Alderac Entertainment Group, Mayday 'green' (63.5x88mm) sleeves are usually too short, and Ultra-Pro (66x91mm, #82689) sleeves too narrow. Fantasy Flight 'gray' (63.5x88mm, #FFS05) sleeves are confirmed to fit, and KMC sleeves are reported to fit properly as well.
KMC and Dragon Shield only make 63.5x88mm and 57x89mm sleeves, to the best of my knowledge.
KMC and Ultra-Pro both make matte-finish sleeves with clear (rather than opaque) backs. They're only available in standard MtG/poker (63.5x88mm) size.
SleeveDominion has large packs of very reasonably priced sleeves for Dominion and Thunderstone. I've not used their products, so I can't vouch for the quality of the sleeves. If any has used them and can report back to me on quality and consistency of sizing, I would appreciate it.
Swan PanAsia seems to sometimes measure its sleeves by the exterior dimensions, so the listed sizes for their sleeves can be somewhat larger than the size of cards that will fit in them.
What do all the colors mean?
The colors on the list are the color of the packaging for that particular product.
For example, if you're searching for 63.5x88mm sleeves in a store, and can't figure out which is which, you can know to look for a grey package from Fantasy Flight, a green one from Mayday, etc.
Not all manufacturers use this system, so not everything is color coded.

Things that (usually) won't be added to the list:
Games with a rating less than 6, or less than 10 ratings, unless someone requests that they be added. I will still happily add lower-rated games if given the information for them, but I won't go searching for it.
Games that have only been released as Print & Play, and are not planned to be published as an assembled game.
Collectible Card Games:
I don't include card counts for 'live' (still being published) CCGs. It's just too much work to keep track of all the new releases. I'll still add the game to the list, but without a number of cards listed.
For 'dead' (no longer published) CCGs I will happily add both the size and card count, though generally I won't break it down into different expansions unless someone gives me that information.
Other lists and websites that might prove useful:
Please let me know if you have suggestions for this section.

Clearbags.com. They have a huge number of bags and sleeves in various sizes. Useful for some of the more oddly sized cards.
Finding the entry for a specific game:
Go to the game's page on BGG, then scroll all the way to the end. There will be a 'geeklists with this game' section, and the first item should be the link to the entry on this list.
Alternatively, from the game's page, click on the 'more' menu, then 'geeklists', then 'hot'. The link to the entry on this list should always be the first item.
http://listonaleash.herokuapp.com/geeklist/164572/ - This will display the geeklist, and has some useful searching and filtering tools.
https://bgc.moscow/bgg/ - A simple tool that will find the geeklist entry for a game.
