This is a Geeklist of the games I've backed on Kickstarter and how I feel about them.

I back many games for $1 or two, but only games where I've pledged at a level where an actual, physical (non-PnP) copy is provided will be on this list.

I'm going to copy this user:

Why I supported this campaign: The subversion of the "chainmail bikini" trope had my support from day 1. The pinup art is also gorgeous.

How I felt about the campaign during it: Not gonna lie, Matt's Rainbow and Unicorn Kisses updates always make me smile. Unfortunately the updates seems to talk about how busy the creators are promoting, but I don't get a sense of any of that momentum coming through on the project.

Why I supported this campaign: Incredibly cheap. The campaign managers were super responsive AND really positive the whole time. I pledged at the triple treasure tier to get Claim It! and A Fistful of Penguins for a really good price at the same time.

How I felt about the campaign during it: Like I said above, the creators here were completely delightful. They responded quickly, the updates were clear, and they were always, ALWAYS friendly.

How I felt after the campaign was over: I would back them again for their attitude alone. They haven't said much since the close, but the game sold out at Essen and I'm going to assume that no news is good news.

What I think about the game after initial play(s): It's got more depth than I thought it was going to, actually. My partner likes that we opened it, learned the rules, and played in under 15 minutes. It was worth the price for sure, and I think we'll play it as a warm-up game quite often.

Why I supported this campaign: Fairly inexpensive price point ($100) for a whole lot of game (16 monsters). I love monsters, and especially monsters wrecking everything. The art's pretty good, and hilarious even if it's a bit amateur.

How I felt about the campaign during it: A little lukewarm, to be honest. Things seemed to keep going back and forth and I almost pulled my pledge 2 or 3 times just because I wasn't sure what the creator was doing.

How I felt after the campaign was over: I'm not sure enough money was actually raised to deliver all that was promised.

Why I supported this campaign: CUTE + dragons = instant buy. I am a simple woman.

How I felt about the campaign during it: Everything is cute and lovely. There was a contest running throughout the campaign that I somehow missed (because it was only mentioned in a single update) so that part was a little lame, but oh well.

How I felt after the campaign was over: The art is still cute. I love updates from this campaign because it's more pictures of adorable baby dragons that are causing trouble.

Why I supported this campaign: I liked the art. There needs to be more games that look like this out there.

How I felt about the campaign during it: The campaign was run very professionally. The updates were always clear and I liked that the stretch goals included other Dice Hate Me games, though there were a few inside jokes I felt I missed out on as a new backer (something about shipping the game in a coffee can...?) I'm also glad I was able to pick up The Great Heartland Hauling Co. and Carnival for a decent price.

How I felt after the campaign was over: Nary a peep from these guys. I guess no news is good news. I'm thinking maybe I didn't need 3 games I've never played before...but oh well.

Why I supported this campaign: Minis to paint. It seemed very epic and Ameritrashy and there was lots of bling and dazzle all over the place.

How I felt about the campaign during it: The momentum on this one. Whoah. There was a lot of good energy and I liked the look of all the stretch goals. It was pretty confusing though, trying to figure out all the pledge levels and add-ons and stretch goals.

How I felt after the campaign was over: I might be feeling a bit of buyer's remorse. I think I'll have fun painting the miniatures, but if the 2-player game doesn't hold up as well as Mice and Mystics, I may end up selling the whole thing, schwack of addons and extra bits, for a loss.

Why I supported this campaign: The single pack was inexpensive and it looked like a decent little game for the price. The dice are nice and I liked the "treasure chest" box.

How I felt about the campaign during it: TMG runs a solid campaign. Lots of energy and a feeling of personal investment in getting to the stretch goals. In the last few hours, I upped my pledge from $23 to $100, thinking I'd give the other 5 copies as fun christmas presents.

How I felt after the campaign was over: I don't know if I should breed any more negativity regarding this, but I will never back another project from TMG, nor buy any of their products at retail. Long story short: TMG was varying degrees of dishonest and shifty throughout (there is more info in the comments of this item, if you're curious).

What I think about the game after initial play(s): It's pretty fun. There's not much interaction though. The game is just not that great, though it looks alright. Definitely a case of buyer's remorse - I probably wouldn't be as disappointed in this campaign if I had stayed at the $23 level.

What I think about the game after several months & hopefully many plays: I played this probably a dozen times in the few weeks after I received it an then never again. It was a miss. Blah.

Why I supported this campaign: The campaign was run by a friend of a friend. Then there were some cross-promotions with another campaign I was backing, so I jumped in at the deluxe level.

How I felt about the campaign during it: Another case of super positive project managers, creators, and backer energy making it a nice experience to be a part of. Lots of stretch goals unlocked and lots of momentum.

How I felt after the campaign was over: I enjoyed the post-campaign updates and the new art that was released with it, even though it's not my favourite "style"

What I think about the game after initial play(s): I haven't actually had an opportunity to play this game the way it's meant to played (with the right people in the right environment). So I can't really comment on that, though it says enough, I think, to know that only certain groups of people will like this game. That said, I love the cards and the art and have made a few of my own custom cards just for fun.

So no regrets

Why I supported this campaign: I really like David Malki !, both in his work as a webcomic artist/writer and as one of the hosts of Tweet Me Harder. I read and enjoyed the original Machine and Death book and just really like the idea of it. I pledged at the TYCOON tier (My card is "SOMETHING THAT RHYMES" ).

How I felt about the campaign during it: SO. MUCH. FUN. Probably the wildest campaign I've been a part of. My favourite part was when everything was getting so ridiculous, with stretch goals such as "we will lift the curse we put on every game", and the addition of the "GOAT STARE" tier ("we will show your copy of the game to a goat before sending it to you"). Check out the campaign page for other silliness.

How I felt after the campaign was over: Communication was great. Malki is still so excited about everything that every update makes me more stoked for the game.
