Cards of a Shattered Star

Description as given in the thread:

Cards of a Shattered Star

It's a card game, using a standard deck of french-suite cards along with some other supplies, depicting the struggle of the mech-controlling faction of the Hia-Mond Collective against the Clade Swarm's ravening insect swarms and Infected and former Hia-Mond war walkers, the 'Subs.'

Players compete in an asymmetric battle for control, as the Red side drops durable and repairable drop-pods filled with battle-ready mechs, while the Black side directs ravening swarms of insectoid monsters in a series of feints and overwhelming onslaughts to overwhelm the enemy and wrest control of the valuable resources contained in the drop pods themselves.

Forces evolve over time, as mechs become infected and change loyalties to support the Black Clade Swarm, while the Red Hia-Mond mechs repair after battles and re-enter the fray in subsequent battles through the hidden deployment of the drop pods. You can even play solitaire, or against another veteran deck, to determine which battlegroup will wrest control of the Cradle of the Gods Nebula.

The cards of fate have been cast. Choose your side.[/q]

Description as given in the thread:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/sh/vkrgjbep6bcjwrh/cVBLdCI...

The game is called "keep it up" the RC helicopter simulator on a gameboard.

It uses 18 custom cards and 2 custom dice and plays from 1-2 players currently with more players available in the future expansions / refinements of this game.

Sorry it is not print and play but you can see they are not artwork heavy and would be easy to create your own rendition. I plan on refining this game for my own use and will update with better artwork and design as that happens. In its current form, this is what you get from me in a 24 hour start to finish game........ENJOY.

The apocalypse is upon us! The sixth destruction and recreation of the world has been foretold, and the Nahui-cetl (Ice Sun) shall soon be here. The gods must be appeased with hearts and blood. Take command of an (in)famous city-state, and go forth to claim the most Sacrifices to assure your city’s survival into the next age.

The full set of rules, writeup, and printable Chits can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/162n7a4E5rYJlKESAIC3dzaND...

18x Warrior Cards
1x 6-sided Dice
13x Sacrifice Chits (printable in the document above)

Description as given in the thread:

I'm committed to doing one of these each month, so even if I only had about two hours to devote to it in the past 24, here it is:

In The Number Game With No Theme, you compete against one other player to try to get all of your cards out of your hand in order to [insert theme here]. Using the 16 number cards and the 2 variable cards, you play cards based on the number that came before: you can't increase that number by more than 2 on your quest to [insert theme here]. Your variable card can help you out - but you only get one per turn, so use it wisely! Try to keep your opponent from playing while getting as many of your cards down as you can. If you do, you'll be the best [insert theme here]!

Description as given in the thread:

Farmyard Field Fun!
A fast, fun game of similarities and differences with our farmyard friends. For 2 players.

The game cards each have 6 fields on them. Fields have different shapes and colours of fences and different types and number of animals (four of each aspect).

In this short game players lay cards and attempt to score the most points over a set of 4 fields. The player must decide whether to score the similarities or differences between the fields and there are bonus points if all the fields are the same or different in a particular aspect.

The game requires 2 sheets printed off - the rules and score board and the 9 cards. Players should provide 2 scoring markers. Two alternate ways of playing are included at the bottom of the rules for bonus fun!
